My car was hit by a driver driving an AVIS rental car. The accident took place in the city of Monterey Park in California. The other driver reported the accident to AVIS. The information he provided over phone was collected by AVIS and AVIS gave him a claims number. The insurance for AVIS rental cars is handled by Sedgwick Claims management Inc.

My auto-insurance company has tried to reach Sedgwick several times over over email and phone. I have tried to call their number [protected]) mentioned in the emails exchanged by the other driver with Sedgwick. I called the AVIS customer helpline number and they sent me back to the Sedgwick 800 number. I was put on hold for about an hour and after that I disconnected.

We are completely unable to contact Sedgwick over multiple weeks to get any information about the claim. The accident was the other driver's fault and AVIS's insurance should cover the repair cost of my car.

It looks like Sedgwick has no intention to contact me or my insurance provider to settle the claim.

Desired outcome: I'd like Sedgwick to provide me the details of the claim and help me settle it at the earliest. My email is <span class="replace-code" title="This information is only accessible to verified representatives of company">[protected]</span>@gmail.com
