This company sucks. David is a theif.
This company has false advertising all over their site, nothing in their portfolio is remotely close to what you get in a mockup and they steal deposits. My site went on for lik 80 days before i was forced to do a chargeback. David Alford is a crook.

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
David Alford *aka* Max Steel is a thief, a con artist, a liar, and a deceiver. He owes me several thousand dollars that I will never see from working for him. He refuses to pay employees, and fires them via text message, phone call, or e-mail when confronted. I personally know that he has taken advantage of unsuspecting customers, sucking money out of them for services that he did not provide. To prove how fake of a person David is, check out his Facebook profile. Funny how he cannot even do business under his own name because people, employees & clients, are finally speaking out about how he treated them unjustly. He has been doing this for years and will never change. Something must be done to put this crook away for good.

I did work for David Alford/David Johnson/Jack or whatever he calls himself. I've been left owed money and currently am about to begin litigation over it. Also, he falsely accused me of telling a client that I wasn't being paid when I have email time stamp proof that no such thing occurred. Whether a client or web designer just be warned not to involve yourself with this business. I sure wish I had read these reviews. I wouldn't be out $4, 000 right now.

call who you have to, to get your money back. I did my research and i have the emails of INC 500 and JD powers if you need to verify. With this information i was able to get paypal to open my case past 45 days. it is March 9, 2011 and i opened my case for all charges. From my most recent to my very first payment in August of 2010! File a claim with IC3, a government funded, internet fraud organization, call paypal, call your bank, Stop doing business with PWDS! i am currently fighting for my money (over $6000)

ALso has anyone noticed, if you called pro web designers, that if you get charged through paypal that its ETAILORPRO and not PWDS!?!?!?! well that is because they really do business under ETAILORPRO! they actually have a few URL's

For anyone on this board that has worked with David in the past, I'm truly sorry that you had to go through that experience. I am a former developer of David's studio. I wasn't paid for nearly 3 months. After realizing that payment was never coming, I quit along with my good friend (another of david's lead developers). We have started our own studio, Studio 422 (http://www.422studios.com).
If anyone out there is looking for legitimate work by a company that bases its sales on truth and services its customers the right way, we invite you to check out our portfolio and let us send you a proposal. We have rebounded VERY nicely from working with David and have been blessed to work on MANY high profile projects. Best of all, No COMPLAINTS!

you are absolutely right. this guy never pays his employees, i worked with him as a partner thinking that he would pay me but in the end he ###ed me over and told me to leave the place. i helped him out in everything, talking to his clientsand getting things done, making the business grow but this ### did everybody wrong including me. he is a total rip off
