Purchased a Sanyo (DP47460) Internet television in January of 2011, now in March 2012, tahe TV clicked off and is now not responding to the remote or push on/off button oin the TV. Called customer support and she asked(did you buy the extended warranty) theb she said soory your warranty is up...I can give a number to a repair man. WTFFFF. All the money I paid and you can refer me t a repair man...I paid alot of money for this $%&#*$ TV and the life time is 15 months...The warranty should be 3 years, as these TVs are junk. Oh, and don't try to get any help with troubleshooting, believe me it will not work...I am sooooooooooooooMAD as spending money buying into these huge corporations lies about their products. What happen to customer value and good reliable products...Well, one thing for sure, I will never by another SANYO ever again. In fact I can't wait to get to work on Monday...my new article...WHY YOU THE CONSUMER SHOULD NEVER BUY A SANYO...yea, I can't wait!

I too have a Sanyo DP47460 TV, I purchased it January of 2010, TV had same issue as above. Walmart replaced the TV with another DP47460, great. Now (March 2012) TV #2 will not power up just as TV #1 did. I too will never purchase another Sanyo TV, I see they are a division of Panasonic. I too will never purchase a Panasonic TV as well because I cant trust the quality of these brands. A TV should not only last 1 year, I purchased the Sanyo to replace a perfectly good Sony KV-36XBR400 only because it was the size of a small car. The Sony was purchased in 2000 and still functions perfectly. Sad that other manufacturers arent as good at building reliable products as Sony.
