Nigerian musician scammer reported for investment fraud

A 26-year-old Nigerian scammer named Mr Akintoye Akinyemi aka Saijan has been reported to the Police on charges of using social media to lure people into investing in a fictitious music career.

Mr Akintoye has been accused of using an Instagram account (@saijanofficial) to lure in several people including a 42-year-old man into "investing in his music career".

The victim was led to believe he was making a profit and he then increased his investment to £30,000 GBP. When he was later trying to recoup the money, he then realised it was all a scam.

The victim filed a complaint to the Metropolitan Police which will subsequently lead to an arrest.
