SafeGuard of America review: Home security system

Incident Date: June 2022. My parents (in their mid-80's) have used SafeGuard America for several years. In April 2021 they needed a new battery in their system and when the work was completed they made my parents sign a new contract for 5 years! They both have dementia and are moving into a memory care facility. The house is now sold and SafeGuard said they can not cancel the policy. The only way out of the contract is if they buy out the remaining 4 years at the sum of $2,731.00. This B* S*, nice way to exploit the elderly! Now I understand why this company has bad reviews. Beware of SafeGuard, please do your research and avoid doing business with this company.
