Rove Concepts review: furniture 1

I ordered a platform bed from rove concepts web site. The bed that arrived would even not be a slight reminder of the wood color or grain represented in their web site. It looked like raw ugly wood with black lines, maybe they forgot to put the veneer on top? A mixture of different patched woods put together randomly into one bed frame. The bed looked so ridiculous, that the guys who were supposed to assemble it start laughing, even before I could digest the magnitude of this furniture scam, the driver told me that they would not assemble it, as it looked completely defected and that it should go back.
My second item that was delivered were dining room chairs. I ordered the natural wood, but what I got was a mixture of the natural wood and the dark stained brown wood. When I called they said that this is a normal wood variation, same thing they said about the bed. This was not a variation, you either want your chair on the natural light tone or the dark brown tone, you do not want a mixture of two colors in one chair.
Now the cherry on top: as if the defective furniture that arrived and that had nothing to do with their slick web site was not enough — I had to deal now with their abusive customer service. You call them - and they just listen.
They will not have any conversion with you over the phone. They decide whatever they want and they reply to you only via email. A unilateral abusive customer concept, where there is only one winner - rove concepts. I sent back all the furniture - they kept 450 dollars for shipping this junk to me - 300 dollars for shipping the junk back to them and 15% restocking fee of their own junk. I paid more than a thousand dollars for having their garbage furniture taking a round trip from canada to the us.
