My husband and I purchased an awning from “Rollup Awning in Bohemia NY. We have had many problems with this company, the awning was installed with screws that were too small to hold the backboard in place. I have had many workers come to my home to level the awning, a worker said “ the backboard was split by replacing the screws to many times! I have all the receipts. We have called the company so many times to resolve the issue, they are very rude, I was hung up on! And bullied. Needless to say the awning is pulling away from the house! The company wants 600.00 dollars to replace the board. We paid a lot of money to have a quality awning put up. Do not use this company or trust what they say.
I have been having trouble with Rollup Awnings for a few years now, I have filed a complaint a few years ago and was bullied by the company I was frightened to proceed. I’m problem is that when they installed my awning they used the wrong screw size, the awning was tilted to the right side. I called the company and they sent a worker to look at it, he adjusted it and said this happens sometimes. Then the awning pitched to the right again I called they came and a different worker said “ the awning was installed with the wrong size screws, he took out the shorter screws and put in longer screws. The awning pitched to the right again. I have proof with the receipts that stated “ board needs to be replaced. This company is rude, nasty and they bully people into submission. Please help me redo line this issue. My awning is pulling away from the house now.
