Quality of roof trusses. And ceiling/roof insulation.
This redman manufactured home we have is about 26' x 44'. We purchased the existing structure in 2018. Manufactured in 2006. The roof is a 4/12 slope. The interior ceiling is a sloped ceiling with the center or middle of the ceiling being about 18"higher than the side wall. Like a scissors truss. It has an attached garage that was apparently made on site...

On 4/22/2022 winds of up to 45mph blew the roofing off the modular home we purchased less than one year ago. They refused to come and repair the damaged roof. This area is rated for 110mph. In order to get a building permit the company has to comply with the county guide lines. The fact that this roof has failed less than one year after delivery means the roof was not applied properly according to known winds.

Moved into new (paid off) singlewide with a year worth of warranty. Issues with both doors - front door is an uninsulated steel door with 1/4 inch gap complete with daylight streaming in & back door is untreated with spots of black mold. All 6 windows leak cold air. Kitchen has 8 cabinets & only 2 shelves. Light switches are supposed to control...

s give to safety matters. No quality control what so ever, inferior material, home made kitchen cabinets falling apart. Bowed exterior wall, sheet rock must be complete re-installed with new materials as walls in several area have split open. This company has violated several of HUD Codes.
