MYKA Bracelet Review: Poor Quality and Misleading Information
I recently purchased a bracelet from MYKA with four hearts engraved with the names of my beloved cats. The shipping was pretty fast and the packaging was impressive. However, I was disappointed to find out that the bracelet was too small for my wrist. I ordered a small size because my wrist is quite small, but it was still too tight. The website claims that the M/L size is for the average woman, but I think they should specify that the small size is suitable for a child.
I had a hard time putting the bracelet on my wrist because it was too tight. The clasp is very sensitive to the spring action, making it difficult to maintain. The bracelet opens on its own unexpectedly, and the charms fall off, making it hard to find them. The clasp itself is flimsy, and it opens on its own when I take off my sweater or top.
After wearing the bracelet for only a week, the charms started to tarnish. The website claims that the bracelet is made of sterling silver, but I doubt it. The charms say "silver," but they don't say "sterling," so I think they are made of tin or some other cheap material. When I received the bracelet, the charms were shiny, but now they have a dull, matte finish that doesn't match the tone of the bracelet. The names on the charms are also extremely small, making them hard to read.
Overall, my experience with MYKA was disappointing. I don't recommend buying from them because of their poor quality and misleading information. They claim to sell sterling silver jewelry, but I doubt the authenticity of their products. Don't waste your money on these scam artists.
Terrible Customer Service and Shady Business Practices at MYKA - A Warning to Others
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with MYKA. Their customer service is just terrible, I mean, I've never been treated this way by a company before. It's like they're trying to take my money and run. I paid extra for express shipping and they didn't even ship it in time, but when I asked for a refund on the shipping costs, they refused. Can you believe that? And get this, I have EMAIL PROOF that they promised to refund me the shipping costs AND 70% of the necklace price if I returned it, but when I actually sent it back, they changed their tune. What kind of shady business is this?
To make matters worse, there's no phone number to call and every time I email their customer service, I get a different response from a different person. I don't even think half of the names are real. It's been months since I sent the necklace back and I still haven't gotten my refund. It's like they're just stringing me along.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend MYKA to anyone. They're a scam and a sham, and they should be ashamed of themselves. And don't even trust the positive reviews on TrustPilot - they all sound like they were written by the same person who wrote the customer service emails. I wouldn't be surprised if they're just writing them themselves.
If I could give them zero stars, I would. Save yourself the trouble and don't order anything from MYKA.
Myka.com Review: Terrible Customer Service and No Tracking Information for International Orders
I recently made a purchase from MYKA (myka.com) for a name necklace, and I have to say, I am extremely disappointed with my experience. It has been three months since I placed my order, and I have yet to receive my necklace. To make matters worse, I have not been provided with a tracking number, which has made it impossible for me to track my package or even know which courier service to contact for assistance.
I have reached out to customer service multiple times to express my frustration and inquire about the status of my order, but I have received the same generic response each time. They tell me to wait and that they cannot provide me with a tracking number. As an international customer, this is unacceptable. I have paid a significant amount of money for my purchase, and I expect to receive it in a timely manner with proper tracking information.
To make matters worse, my package was actually sent back to MYKA and had to be reshipped. Despite this, I still have not been provided with a tracking number or any additional information about the status of my order. The customer service representatives have offered me a 10% refund, but this is not a satisfactory solution. I did not make any mistakes in this transaction, and I should not be penalized for MYKA's errors.
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and customer service from MYKA. As an international customer, I would strongly advise against making a purchase from this company. They do not seem to care about their customers or take responsibility for their mistakes. I wasted $64 on this purchase, and I regret ever giving MYKA my business.
Disappointing Experience with MYKA: Terrible Customer Service and Unreliable Shipping
I recently had an experience with MYKA (myka.com) and I have to say, it was not a good one. Let's start with their customer service, which was absolutely terrible. I tried to contact them through their customer service email, but they never responded. It wasn't until I messaged them on Facebook and complained about my issues that they finally got back to me. This was really frustrating, as I had already tried to reach out to them through the proper channels.
When they did finally respond, they weren't very helpful at first. It wasn't until I demanded a refund that they suddenly had all the answers and were able to help me out. This was really disappointing, as I had hoped for better customer service from a company like MYKA.
Next, let's talk about shipping. I ordered an item from MYKA on December 4th, with the expectation that it would arrive before Christmas. I even paid extra for faster shipping, but unfortunately, the item never arrived. I received a tracking number from MYKA, but when I checked with USPS, they had no record of the package.
After a lot of frustration and back-and-forth with MYKA, I finally received my package on December 26th - the day after Christmas. To make matters worse, the package had a 3-day priority mail sticker on it, and when I checked with USPS, they had actually sent it out on December 24th. This was really disappointing, as I had paid extra for faster shipping and had expected the item to arrive on time.
Overall, I would not recommend MYKA to anyone. Their customer service is terrible, and their shipping is unreliable. If you're looking for a reliable online retailer, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
MYKA Review: False Advertising and Terrible Quality - Don't Waste Your Money!
I am so angry right now that I just have to vent about my experience with MYKA. Let me tell you, it was a complete disaster. When my order finally arrived, it was in a ripped up envelope that looked like it had been through a warzone. And to make matters worse, the wallet/case inside was stained and marked. The chain and tag were just thrown in on a piece of paper, and the chain itself was so flimsy and cheap-looking that I was afraid it would snap in half if I even touched it. It honestly looked like something you would win from an arcade machine.
And don't even get me started on the personalized dog tag. It was nothing like the picture on the website. It was tiny, thin, and not even straight. The engraving was terrible, and the picture I submitted was so blurry that I could barely make out what it was supposed to be. And to top it all off, the tag was already marked up when I opened it.
I did some research online and found out that I'm not the only one who's had a terrible experience with MYKA. There are hundreds of unhappy customers who haven't received refunds and are just as upset as I am. It's false advertising, plain and simple. They promised good quality products and a 100-day money back guarantee, but they didn't deliver on either of those promises.
I'm giving MYKA 48 hours to respond with an adequate solution, or I'm going to take this to trading standards, the police, and even the papers if I have to. I'm just one of many mistreated customers who are looking for answers, and I won't stand for this kind of treatment.
MYKA Name Plate Necklace Review: Poor Quality and Customer Service
I bought a name plate necklace from MYKA (myka.com) as a gift for myself on Mother's Day two years ago. Although it took a long time to arrive, I was happy with the product when it finally did. However, I have had some issues with the chain breaking twice since then. The first time, it was still under warranty, and they sent me a replacement chain without any issues. I just had to use a set of jewelry pliers to reattach it. The second time, which was about four months ago, I had to pay $10 for a replacement chain because my warranty had expired. I reluctantly paid the fee because I love wearing my sons' names on my necklace.
After a few weeks, I received an envelope with a piece of paper and a jewelry bag inside. However, the bag was empty, and there was nothing on the paper or in the envelope. I was disappointed and frustrated, so I took a picture and sent an email to customer service. They assured me that customer service was their top priority and promised to send me another replacement chain. I pleaded with them to send it more carefully and wrapped better because you could feel the chain through the envelope. Also, it's not even real silver, so I'm not sure why anyone would want it.
Today, I received the envelope again, and it was empty once more. It didn't look tampered with, but the seal was loose, like it was poorly sealed. It could have fallen out, but either way, it's their fault. I'm tired of playing these games, and the product is cheap. I don't wear it in the water or to bed, so the fact that it keeps breaking proves that it's just cheaply made. I just want my money back now.
MYKA Review: Confusing Cancellation Policy and Potential Fees
So, I just had an experience with MYKA and I gotta say, it was a bit of a mess. I placed an order and got an immediate email confirmation, which was cool. But then I realized that one of the names on the order wasn't complete because of a character limit. Oops. So, I sent an email asking to cancel the order, hoping it wouldn't be too late.
Luckily, they got my cancellation request within 10 minutes of the order being placed. But their response was a bit confusing. They said that once an order is placed, production begins immediately, which I guess makes sense. But then they offered me a few options to keep the order, like a 10% refund or a product exchange with an additional $20 to spend.
I appreciated the options, but I just wanted to cancel the order. They did warn me that if I did cancel, there might be a 30% restocking fee, which seemed a bit steep. And they made it clear that if I didn't respond, they would just ship the order as is.
Overall, it was a bit of a shambolic experience. I'm not sure if I'll order from MYKA again, but I guess it's good to know that they have some options if you need to make changes to your order. Just be prepared for some confusion and potential fees.
MYKA Review: Poor Service and Possible Scam - Frustrated Customer Seeks Refund
I recently bought two necklaces from MYKA on May 8th, and I have to say, I'm not impressed with their service. I've tried to contact them eight times, but all I've received are automated responses. It's frustrating because I have two issues that need to be addressed. Firstly, I can't seem to click on the actual receipt on my PayPal account, which is a bit concerning. Secondly, I received a confirmation number on May 25th, saying that I would receive my products on May 26th, with a tracking number provided for shipping with FedEx. However, when I checked two days ago, it said that the product hadn't even left the warehouse yet, and they were still packaging it.
After contacting them again, they gave me a tracking number with Canada Post, assuring me that it had left the warehouse. But when I checked, it said that I had repurchased the item on June 3rd, and it was still in Israel. At this point, I'm starting to think that this is all a scam. I'm completely frustrated, and I just want my money back. The automated emails are giving me no information, and all they say is "your package is on route," even though Canada Post still says they're waiting on the item from the past week. I've been in touch with PayPal, and they agree that this is definitely a scam. I don't even want the item if it does turn up.
And to MYKA, please don't respond to my review with "please send your order # blah blah blah." I'm a single mother, and this is disgusting what you're doing to people. Best believe I will get my money back.
Update: I finally got my refund, and PayPal went in my favor. The whole time I was tracking my order, it wasn't even my necklace! It was the free earrings they offered me for not receiving it on time. Go figure. Then they had the audacity to email me and ask me to take down my review. What a joke! Clearly, people need to know that MYKA is a scam. I will not be taking down my review!
