Gary Sylvester Master Builder reviews and complaints

Gary Sylvester stole $35, 000 from us promising us a porch and columns. He did demo and then left us with a dangerous uncompleted porch with a temporary supports left up for 9 months. They are are holding up a heavy load bearing roof. He never cleaned up his demolition and we now have carpenter and termite problems. They are eating the temporary supports leaving us in a dangerous situation. He took two payments and ran never returning. He promised to deliver materials in Nov 2017. June 27th 2018 and we have no materials. He destroyed my old porch and now my house looks truly terrible. Do not use or trust this man. He is from Mendam NJ and goes by Gary Sylvester Master Builder!

Took deposits for several projects - signed for all deposits. My contracts stated the job was to be finished by 8/31/2011. We paid for a dumpster, which he stuck Ferese carting company. Ordered stone and stuck The Stone Center. Hired a sub and never paid him for the work - now the sub is after me for the payment. Use to drop off his workers with no food or water and at 7pm, call a neighbor to take them home. He uses the License # 13VH02561700. The Attorney General's office tells me it expired 12/31/2008. This is FRAUD. There are fines for every infraction. Anyone having invoices or certificates of insurance with this bogus number is advised to call [protected] X3. Gary Sylvester needs to be taken out of circulation. He has multiple judgements against him, so nobody will collect. Lets get the state after him!
