ResumeSpider review: Lack of a clear refund policy 5

I have been had! I am a Job seeker and in this market I am eager to find work. So I figured why not try this ResumeSpider thing. It will work in the background sending my resume to thousands who will look at it while I continue send it out myself.

My only responses have been someone wanting to re-do my resume which I know for a fact to be great and some guy wanting to be my friend on linkedin.

I am asking for results not new bff's and more ways to spend money! Hello Unemployed! If you want to risk wasting your time and limited (unemployed) resources then by all means do this and waste your cash on the premium package like I did! Oh I feel like such a sucker!

I guess the words of wisdom in this situation are;"If you cannot afford for this program to provide 0 results and give up $89 like I did and have no interviews or anything to show for it then leave this dog alone!"

Notice the lack of a clear refund policy! They promised to get me and I was a pure sucker and lost out on some bank cushion. Shaking my head!

Preying on the unemployed is PURE EVIL!

So if you want results now this is probably not the site for you. The risk is you may get results Never and still have to pay!

Just a follow-up from my post about 2 hours ago. Just got called by another recruiter with a different position close to where I work now.

I posted my resume with resume spider at 9:00 pm last night and I was surprised that a recruiter contacted me by email the next morning. He sent three job descriptions that fit my profile after we spoke on phone. So I asked him if he found through resume spider, and he said yes. He did also say that he doesn't typically get a lot of hits from spider because he specializes in my field (toxicology/scientists). Granted, none of the jobs are in my geographical local, but that goes with my field. Maybe my experience is not typical, but I have bought less for 40 bucks. We will see how the job hunt goes from here, and I will post comments in the near future.

I work for ResumeSpider. We are not sure who made this complaint because there is no verifiable identity. Regardless, our response is we do have a published refund policy. It is available to view previous to signing up for our service. In short, we are very confident in our members, our distribution system, and the quality of our service. Within 90 days, if you do not experience 95% accuracy with our Direct Hire Employer List or get at least 50 recruiter evaluations from our Resume Distribution Report, we will refund your money. Here is a link to more details of the policy - http://www.resumespider.com/100-guarantee/. I can assure you, we stand behind this policy 100%.

All Member Companies in our network are real employers and recruiters that expect to get resumes from us. Every company applies for an account and is approved (or rejected) before we allow them to join the network. We actually human verify every company, so MLMs, Business Opportunities, Direct Selling companies, Resume Writers, etc are not allowed to receive resumes through the network. In addition, the company has to provide an email address that is received by a person, not a computer program that scans resumes.

We invite this person to contact us directly to resolve this issue. Our contact information is easily accessible on our website – phone: [protected] and email: info@resumespider.com. I would hope that if this person continues to use compaintsboard to vent that they would indentify more details related to their account. We have found that posts like this on similar websites are bogus complaints made by our competitors. Therefore, we would like the opportunity to address this issue or see if they are even a customer.

Not sure why you would want a refund. I used ResumeSpider which claims their service will connect you with many employers and that's exactly what it did for me. You of course still need to follow-up and cultivate these connections to find the right job for you, but to have the abiity to connect with them and get my resume to so many recruiters in one shot, this was well worth the low cost investment.
