The same thing also happened to me - Redsave are basicaslly scammers. I have never know such underhanded trading - I have also reported them to trading standards via consumer direct as i believe they are misleading 'customers' by not allowing you to trade without taking out the ridiculous monthly subscription - the 'so-called' discount is just a ruse - you can buy cheaper elsewhere. I also had to cancel my credit card - but since it was issued via a bank it also caused lots of issues with them.
- the whole thing is disgusting! - PC49 -Wakefield

Total scam. bought an item for £10 and since then they have removed their 'membership' charge of £19.95. unfortunately i was buying a lot online at that time, they dont set a direct debit either (that needs customers approval) they just help themselves every month. emailed several times got no reply. threatened to involve the police they finally replied. i was sent a link to cancel my 'membership' i did NOT fill in form as i did not agree to any 'membership' i did not know what i was canceling but they have not taken any more money but still waiting on my money being returned. i did not phone instead done everything email so i have written evidence. looks like i might have to take to court to get my money back from these crooks. DONT GO NEAR THEM NOTHING BUT SCAM.

I've just read the same problem people have had regarding payment taken out of the account with authorisation. Red save say its in their terms which are not highlighted at the time of purchase. The should clearly state while buying that th customer is automatically forced to join thier membership of £19.95 and there is no option to opt out. So please people once again like other do not buy from this website. Cheating fraudsters.!

DO NOT Purchase anything from REDSAVEPASS.COM, they sell a variety of "low cost items" ( I purchased a Car scratch repair pen for £1.99 ) but in accepting their TERMS & CONDITIONS you are signing up for a recurring charge of £19.95 per month !
They give you the first month free, then charge from the 2nd month, so you don't realise !
Please pass this on to as many ppl as you can...lets see the power of the internet save some ppl from these B*******D Scam merchants
Cost so far £1.99 pen £3.79 postage £19.95
Debit Card CANCELLED

My Barclays account on the 2nd and 30th/31st of each month for at least the last 8 months has had 2 lots of £19.95 taken out without my authorisation of knowledge. I have never bought from this site and need these funds to go back into my account asap due to rising costs of bills etc. Obviously a huge scam which needs to be stopped. This site needs to be closed down once and for all.

I bought some items some time ago from this site, and i do not check my bank account that often sadly, to find that this site has been taking £19.95 from my account every month for some time, as they must automatically create a direct debit if you dont cancel some sort of saving scheme that i did not sign up too, how many people have they done this to?

I have had an amount of £19.95 taken from my Barclaycard credit card. I have not authorised this nor do I know what it is or where they got my details from. It says for fees.

I have also become a victim of the regular £19.95 payments without purchase. My bank is dealing with it.

I purchased from this company in January 2011 Value of order £1.99 + 50p p&p. Then 6 months later had £19.95 taken from my account, without my knowledge or consent. (I'm 14 years old and gutted!)

They charge me 2 lots of £19.95 for one item costing £1.99. Didn't answer phone and didn't deal with my request to cancel. It was a subscription website, but it did not tell me that. Reported it to my bank and they cancelled all my details and have asked them to repay me.

same happened to me, i bought 2 back supports November 2011 for £2 each, one was faulty, rather than send it back it only cost £2
I just binned it and got another one at the £1 shopr for a £1! Fast foward 5 months later and I have had 5 payments of £19.95 taken out of my account, before I realised yesterday (April 2012). I entered through google and I was not shown 2 prices, I did not realise that I was signing up for anything. It might be legal but it is border line theiving.

I never ever received any other correspondence from them, reminding me that I was a member of their sham site. So now a £4 purchase has cost me over £100 ... gutted, I work hard for my money and these scabs can just take it anytime. Bank couldn't even cancel it. But I have sent an email to Watchdog and I am calling Citizens Advice Bureau tomorrow and I will take this further.

Thieves - I am disgusted after reading lots of reviews on this [censored] company who no one seems to be able to stop them.

I sent an email via their website and got a reply from Scott today that they had billed me correctly! B*******ds

I am one of many people who is being ripped off with scam and i think that everyone who is getting ripped off from this so called company called redsave should get together and do something about it because they have been getting away with it for too long and somehow they must be stopped.

You may of clicked on to a certain website or agreed to something else entirely different but then they send and use you card details for other things, unfortunately you have no hope with retrieving monies back, I would suggest you cancel your card.

It has happened to us aswell, we brought the paddling pool for £40 and not one mention of a £19.95 subscription fee. Its been over six months and we have contacted them and they will not stop taking money. I just wish we could do something to stop these scam artists to stop.

i too had £19.95 taken from my HSBC a/c. Just got off the phone to HSBC as i got a letter saying they are going to re-apply the debit because i accepeted the merchants (redsavepass.com) TOS. I ordered a £6.49 vuvuzela from them at the begining of the world cup. HSBC said there is nothing more they can do, but the company is being investigated. http://blogs.mirror.co.uk/investigations/2008/10/redsavecom-is-keeping-lawyers.html theyve been pulling this ### for years.. Unfortunately theres not much we can do about it except bite the bullet. Luckily i caught them early, logged into my a/c on their site and cancelled my "subscription" i suggest you do the same too before they take more money...
