I contacted this kennel to purchase a minature schanauzer. My boyfriend and I were told they had 3 males available. We drove to Straford and gave them a $150 deposit and were told that the mother was adopted, they had gotten her from a friend who had a kennel. The father of the puppies was not there. They advertise on their website that the mother "Sadie" is a new addition to their kennel and they don't show a picture of the father but give all the personality details of the father, and if you click on a link, they show you a picture of the grandfather. They also advertise they do not release their puppies until they are at least 7 weeks old, and they give you a picture your dog when they were born, etc. We actually ended up with 2 of the puppies, because my sister received a puppy from this same litter. After a vet visit she was told her pup had worms and appeared very stressed. In looking at their stools, both puppies had worms, and we notified the kennel. In further investigation we started questioning if the puppies were actually "born" at this kennel. We learned that the kennel owners had just picked up the mother and puppies on Sunday, 1/9. They let them leave their kennel only 2 days after getting them, when they were less than 6 weeks old, and they had not even had the puppies a week before they were selling them. When they were questioned the owner Cheryl Wootten stated she was sorry and would take the dogs back because of the "misunderstanding". She agreed she had not seen the dad of these dogs since he was a puppy, and they had just received the mom & pups. The next morning when we called to return them, she said she would not honor what she had stated because her husband wouldn't let her. She was a completely different person and appeared to only care about the money instead of the dogs. I can't imagine not keeping the pups for a least a couple of weeks before just selling them and making sure they were in good health. After many phone calls she finally agreed to refund us 1/2 of our money. We returned the pups to be with their mother and they immediately posted that they were for-sale again for the full price we had paide. When we returned the pups they would not give us our money (which was only 1/2 of what we had paid) until we signed a form that said "we did not read the contract fully"...that had nothing to do with why we returned them. This kennel was not honest and did not disclose all of the story with the dogs. When we called and asked what age do they let their dogs go, she stated at 8 Weeks...these pups weren't even 6 weeks old. I would not recommend purchasing a puppie from this kennel because you can't believe they are telling you the complete story. They mis-represented what they were doing and selling.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I purchased a puppy from Cheryl several years ago. This is one of the best kennels I've ever been to and she loves all of her dogs. We have kept in touch over the years and I would love to get another one of her puppies, but they go quickly :) Thank you Cheryl for my awesome little man. He will be 8 this Oct. :)
I wonder if the past comments spawned from some sort of personal issue or if it does not include some information that would explain why the events that took place took place. Mrs. Wooten is great businesswoman and she produces some beautiful mini schnauzers. The Mrs. Wooten I met responded to my very first email within the hour and has not hesitated to answer any of my questions since. I picked up my baby on 09/28 and she is perfect. Her mother is Sadie, the dog that was mentioned in the reviews above and she is also beautiful. Her place was SO FREAKIN CLEAN! OMG! It was beautiful. And you can just tell she treats them all well because they do not appear to be afraid of her. If you are reading this, reviews are cool, but you should also take into account the story we are being told is really one sided. I read these reviews after making my deposit and I admit I was a little nervous, but I was also comforted by the amount of positive views that out weighted the amount of negative views. I’m so glad I went for myself. My new puppy is freaking perfect, bad lol, but perfect. Mrs. Wooten is awesome! You want a mini schnauzer? Then you want it from PUPS4US.COM (PROMO PLUG, lol)! No really, you do!
I have a beautiful puppy by the name of Sophie that I recently bought from Pups4Us! She is the best one I have ever had. Mrs. Wootten gives her full attention to these pups because I have seen it first hand. One thing she does ask is to go to the vet before 3 days of having your pup home for a health guarantee...when I took Sophie in the vet was pleased to see how healthy and well behaved she was. She is only nine weeks old and hasn't had but one accident the whole time. She is already trained to go outside and potty thanks to pups4us because they show them that is what they are supposed to do as soon as their eyes open. If you are going to buy a pup you should totally buy from them. When I saw that complaint that was posted I was shocked. Mrs. Wootten would never let a pup go that wasn't ready. If that was the case, she would have given Sophie to me a lot sooner than what she did. She takes pride in her kennel as do I! She is the most loving to these pups. This is her FULL time job...not just something she does on the side. She is with the pups 24/7...take a look for yourself she is the best all around. Go to her for a pup...and for the complaint...I don't even know what to say to them, besides the fact that it isn't true whatsoever! Go pups4us!

I'm a veterinary tech and have taken care of thIs kennels adult dogs and puppies for several years and can tail you the this woman is the best breeder I have seen in Oklahoma . She takes very good care of her dogs and makes sure they have whatever they need and also does the same with her puppies I also have had the pleasure of seeing her kennels first hand because my daughter purchased a puppy from her and she was very delighted with the way Mrs Wootten kept her updated on the puppy till she got to pick him up so I do not think that anyone that has had the pleaser of dealing with this kennel could be unhappy and I would recommend that anyone looking for a puppy to go to them Norma Reed
I have visited the Pups4us Kennel and found it to be one of the cleanest, well run kennels I have ever been to. I have purchased two puppies from two different Kennels before visiting Pups4us and neither one the other Kennels was as clean or professionally managed as Pups4us!
I have watched as Mrs. Wootten weighed and documented each puppy' s progress for that day in her meticulous records she keeps. I have seen how she socializes each puppy to ensure a friendly disposition. I have spoken with owners of puppies she has sold and all of them agree that the facility, as well as the puppies, have been fantastic. I would recommend Pups4us to anyone looking for a puppy that comes from a knowledgeable, caring breeder!
Mrs. Wootten knows she does not have to respond to the ridiculous, false complaint because everyone that deals with her finds that she is treating them honestly and fairly. Sadly it is true that some people are just never happy with the outcome of a situation no matter how much the other person tries to satisfy their unrealistic demands!

Look I don't have all the fancy words of Mr. Roberts, and some of the others. All I can tell you is that the pup I got from Cheryl Wooten, has been a godsend to me.
In all my interactions with Ms. Wooten, one thing she make abundantly clear, that all pups came with a one year health guarantee. and that I was to take her to my vet, and have her checked, then if anything came up later (before the year was up), something would be worked out.
I did my due diligence, I checked her testimonials, spoke with previous buyers, I went to her kennels unannounced. From my understanding this is really a type of friendship, neighbor dispute going on. Also you are not picking a pup when it is born, your deposit gives you the choice of which pup you want when they are six weeks old. She posts pics of them online, and like I did, I went to the kennel and personally touched and handled the pups I had the choice of.
Continuing on: The kennel was kept clean, and appropriate temp, there were 4 dam's w/pups when I went to chose mine, everyone of them were clean and groomed and looked very healthy
All I can say is : THANK YOU CHERYL @pups4us. My Tayen is like my baby, she is a happy and healthy 5 year old now, (acts like 2)
and I wouldn't trade her for anything.

i want to tell all what happened to me when dealing with Cheryl Wooten, my husband was getting me one of her pups out of Sadies litter, I was told by her she only sells healthy puppies.I gave her the 200.00 deposit a couople of weeks after the littler was born. I signed the deposit agreement and a few weeks later gave her the remaining 200.00 for the puppy. She told me AFTER I had paid her that ALL the little had hernias. I called a vet and they said it would be 277.00 to repair the hernia and it had to be done. There was nothing I could do so Put the 277.00 back from our taxes. Then on the 18th of this month a week befor I picked up the puppy she tells me ALL of the puppies had UNDERBITES! I called a vet and the vet said it is a skelatal deformaty and can affect the pups chewing and digesteon. It is more than JUST COSMETIC! You cannot breed the dog with an underbite either! First of all you might as well say I was paying 700.00 for the pup counting the cost of the surgery and you cannot breed him. I see now why she has you sign a paper saying NOT responsible for hernias and underbites! You are already screwed after you pay for the pup, you lost your money! Her online add says HEALTHY PUPPIES, HEALTH GUARENTEED! That is FALSE! I ask if I could have a pup out of her next litter instead, she said NO! She gave me back my 200.00 depostit and that was IT! You have to pay the deposit WHEN THE PUPS ARE BORN or you will not get one! How can you tell if they have under bites or hernisas at birth? She knows this to! We are neighbors and were suppose to be friends and she did me so wrong.She new we are raising 2 grandsons and are not rich but she kept our 200.00 plus I did not get a puppy! False advertising! Very unmoral what she did to us! The dog had TWO things wrong but were screwed out of 200.00 because I wanted a healthy non flawed puppy. That is not a good breeder who knowingly has a flawed litter and will not give a person a refund or another puppy! Oh yea, because of the hernia she will give 50.00 back on the price of the puppy, so instead of 700.00 in all it would be 650.00.We were done very wrong so people beware what you sign and what you buy, dont be a trusting fool like we were!

I would like to thank you for making my visit an enjoyable one. I haven’t seen Mike and Von this excited about getting new additions in since Fritz. They lost both Fritz and Wally so close together that I really had my doubts they would look again. But since Nikolaus had always had a running mate they could not make him be the only one. I brought my daughter who was visiting with us and I really thought I was not going to get out of your facility without the little white schnauzer my daughter fell in love with.
As a Veterinarian I have never been to facility quite like yours. I could tell you spend a lot of time keeping your facility clean and it smells clean. Believe me I would know. The time you must spend with your adults shows when we walked into the building along with the puppies, your dogs love you and I mean all of them love you. You are a great breeder and you should take pride in that. There really are not that many left any more. For Mike and Von to be impresses with you means something to me. We have been friends for over 30 years now and it takes someone special for them to be impressed.
I was very impressed that you are endorsed by some of the leading Dog Food companies. I was also very impressed with the puppy package you sent with Mike and Von. I had no doubt in my mind as a Veterinarian all you had documented had been done. This makes a Vet very happy when a client comes in with a new member of the family. Your documentation leaves no doubt in the Veterinarian’s mind what he needs to do on the visit. I don’t know how many folks come in to see me with a puppy with paperwork on the pup and I can’t tell what has been done and what hasn’t or better yet the client tells me the pup has had all its shots cause the breeder gave it.
Your facility will be recommend by myself and I am sure Mike and Von’s Veterinarian will also recommend you from what I have been informed. Keep up the great work and again it was a pleasure to visit your facility and know Mike and Von were taken very good care of.

Mike and I are so incredibly happy that we did our research when looking for a breeder for the schnauzer breed. You have exceeded all our expectations and made the decision to go with PUP 4 US an easy one. We will always appreciate the time and effort you put toward helping us with the process of choosing the new additions to our household. As you know Cheryl we had just lost two and it was difficult for me to wrap my mind around the new additions for Nikolaus. However the two puppies are perfect and have been since the day we brought them home. We knew from the first time we pulled up to take a tour of your facility this was a breeder who actually cared about the breed and not how much money she could make. Your facility is just awesome. We have not ever seen a breeder who takes such great care of not only the mom’s and dad’s but gives these darlings a very clean environment to live in. The care you take in preparation on the newborns and letting the new owners know the progress of their new baby is just wonderful. I never really had much in questions since all is explained very well and up front before the pups are born. I can’t say thank you enough for all the reports you sent on our little guys.
The first Vet visit was a breeze not only for Hans and Klaus but for our Vet. After looking at all your documentation on them he had no doubt he was dealing with a breeder who knew what she was doing and said he would like her card so he could recommend her for the schnauzer breed. He was amazed at the puppy package Mrs. Wootten sends home with each puppy. He could not say enough about the new additions and how beautiful they were and how healthy they were. Our Veterinarian also owns a schnauzer. This reflects on you and the care you not only gave the puppies when they were born but the parents of the pups before they were born. You would have never guessed that the two babies came from different litters. We know the care they received from you made it easier for us when Klaus was brought home a week after Hans was brought home. They played like they had been born in the same litter, very socialized to start with made it also easier for Nikolaus to adjust to puppies. Both Hans and Klaus are well rounded puppies, and it did not take long to housebreak Hans but Klaus was a little more stubborn but he finally got the idea. They both knew when they finished potting they would get a treat and now they sit so pretty waiting for the treat. Too cute let me tell you. Thank you again for helping us out with all the questions and being so wonderful to not only us but to Nikolaus.
I was hesitant to believe the pictures on the web page but when Mrs. Wootten allowed us to visit PUPS 4 US, we were so pleased with how wonderful her faculties are kept and how well the adult’s reacted to her. This is absolutely not in anyway, shape or form a puppy mill. For those interested in purchasing a puppy from PUPS 4 US you should do so. The quality of puppy you purchase is GREAT! Mrs. Wooten takes special care and gives a lot of time and attention to not only the puppies but to the mom’s and dad’s. We have never seen a facility that you could not tell was a kennel. Clean! And we mean clean! To us this is a sign of not only a great breeder but a person who cares about what she is doing. We have received so many compliments on Hans and Klaus and how they could tell they came from a breeder who truly cares about the breed. We have told everyone about PUPS 4 US and we highly recommend this facility. Mrs. Wootten is a great woman and we plan in staying in touch with her. She is very nice and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. She is very honest and that is hard to come by these days. One more thing, the day we picked up Hans we had a dear friend with us who happens to be a veterinarian and he was amazed at not only Mrs. Wooten but her facility. He also could not get over the puppy package she was sending home with Hans, he said the high dollar breeders don’t even do that. He was also impressed that she had endorsements from Purina, Iams, and Royal Canine. All the information she provided before the pups came home was worth the price of the pup itself but the package she sends home is awesome. He now can recommend a breeder for the clients he has who are looking for a schnauzer. He thought Mrs. Wooten has high standards not only for her facility but for the new owners of her pups. He has also written a testimonial for her. He just could not get over how clean her facility was and how well socialized not only the pups but the adults were. He was very happy at the decision we had made and he got to look over Klaus who was coming home the following week.

I have a beautiful little puppy by the name of Bella. She was purchased from Pups4us. I highly recommend Pups4us to anyone even the President of the United States. I was finally able to pick up my puppy on 12 Nov 2011 and I can't say enough about the results I have seen. My pup is well adjusted, she has not had one accident. She is a very happy puppy. I wholeheartedly believe this is because of the positive interaction the puppies received from the day they are brought into this world until their eight weeks of life. When I saw the horrible review about Pups4us I was appalled. I couldn't believe it. Maybe the complainant had underline issues they aren't fully disclosing in their complaint above. Mrs. Wooten runs a very respectable business and I am a very proud and satisfied owner of a puppy from Pups4us. If you are looking for a wonderful breeder, look no further, Pups4us is the place you need and must go to. You won't be upset.
This is the best kennel I have seen in a long time.the owner takes pride in her work, she goes above and beyond.this complaint above is about 2 sisters that their boyfriends purchaced the puppies for them, your lucky to get anything back! they were NOT ready for a puppy, they said that the puppies had sharp teeth and were fighting with each other, the owner asked them if the puppies were givin any chew toys, and as far as the fighting, the puppies were playing, and as for as the boyfriends the sisters probly got rid of them.if you are looking for a puppy, look this kennel up for yourself.
