We have a lawyer, and plan to sue the ###! :We have documents from former employees and customers. We will win this case for all the people hurt by Prosper inc. I. They have reported them to the Federal Trade Commission, the Attorney General, the BBB. Now it is important to say at this point Prosper has alleged to hurt and did things that were wrong. The legal system will decide the if wrong was done.

The owners Ethan Willis and Randy Garn both need to know thealleged damage done . This is why we will be establishing a
P O BOX where all of us victims can write to each other and file the class action lawsuit.I will be posting this information very soon.

Hello, I coached for Prosper once and I can tell you that my time there was at first, great. The economy was good and the housing market was strong. I Am and was a successful real estate investor with over 30 properties and I tried my best to help students in their investments.
Then the economy took a dive and so did new student enrollment for Prosper Inc. This is when my fall out with them started and I have been a very vocal voice against them ever since.
Just so you all are aware, the management from Prosper Inc. is at it again. the new scam is Achieve Today. http://www.achievetoday.com/
Look them up on LinkedIn and see how many of their employees have ties to Prosper Inc.
One of the goons in upper management Dave Greene, even held out an envelop to me that was a "severance" and that I could get it after I signed the release papers saying that I was fired for not calling a student 3 times for an appointment.
What I was really fired for was helping a student, with social difficulties get a refund. He was AUTISTIC and they got him for around $7500.00 on credit.

I wish I would have seen this sooner...I actually got an accidental email from a Prosper coach to a whole bunch of people but he didn't blind copy so I emailed all of them and got a whole bunch of them who are not happy. Including a woman who lost her husband and was talked into investing all her money into training at prosper and didn't get anything out of it...but they sure took her money! Sure would like to discuss this more with you if you haven't actually done the class action suit yet.

My elderly and now ill mother was swindled by this company as well. We have now filed complaints with FTC and ice.gov. If anyone has any ideas how I can recover this investment for her, she could really use it as her condition is deteriorating her health and no conventional treatments will help. I wrote a letter and sent it certified on her behalf to the CEO and it was not even acknowledged. Please keep me in this loop. I have vowed I will get her money back somehow...

I was scammed big time by Prosper Learning. After that they unlawfully charged me for courses I never signed up for like Trump Academy. Then they turned me over to their collection agency Monterrey who harassed me day and night for years after. I wondered why my counselor whose name was Stan told me on my last session, "it goes on, Judah..." a quote from the movie Ben Hur as if he was like Masalla (who murdered Judah's mother and sister in the movie). I kid you not! He actually said that to me. Those were his last words to me. Man, was he right. This corporation owes me hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages. They ruined my life. no exaggeration. because of Prosper Inc, I filed for bankruptcy, I had to foreclose on my home... lost everything. I seriously would do anything to see them go down.

This program is scam101. All prosper will guarantee you is that before the program is over your credit cards will be maxed out and you will not have made a dime. (They won't tell you this).
Step #2 more money for licensing your business in another state, which will cost you another $800.00, and after that for $600.00 more dollars they will put you in touch with another one of their partners to milk you out of anywhere from $500.00 to $1000.00 dollars to help you make money while you are waiting on the first scam to materialize.
The bottom line is, these people actually have a license to steal. I don't care how much you may think they are trying to help you, you will not make any money, but you will make a lot of bills, and i don't mean dollar bills either.

I have not read anything here that has any substantial evidence that Prosper, Inc. did anything wrong. If someone has specifics please provide them. I don't want to get into a relationship with an organization that is a scam, but I also want to give them some benefit of doubt. I am familer with other products from Ken Blanchard, Robert Allen, and Shawn Casey. I have no issue with any of these folks. The information I gained was useful. Did I get filthy rich. NO. But I also don't feel I got ripped off. Regarding Will Paul's comments, sorry you have such a bad expereince. Let me tell you that there are MANY "systems" out there that sound really good, but only a few people will actually make any real money from them. I don't know how young you are, but just keep this experience in mind becuase over the years you are going to get sucked into a lot of "deal of a life time" opportunities that won't pan out. If you could document specific promises or mis respesentations you might be surprised what you can get back. If you fell you been wronged, then you really need to file a complaint with the FTC and you States Attorney General (just like Stephen said). You might not get immediate satisfaction, but if enough complaints are filed, enought to indicate something is fishey, then you might later find - several years from now - that a settlement was made and you get a few bucks back. Don't be timid!

I was thouroughly taken advantage of by Prosper. In looking for a way to make some extra money as a college student, I stumbled upon this program, talked with a representative who pursueded me to pay $5000 for a year's membership. They convinced me that I would be able to earn back what I invested relatively shortly and encouraged me to finance a majority of the payment over the course of the year. I was misled by the thought that what they showed me would make me money, and though I put my blood, sweat, and tears into trying to make it work, I have made NOTHING. At the beginning of the process I signed a contract that notified me that the program would not guarantee that I make money (my understanding was that if you didn't follow the program carefully that you wouldn't make money), but I did everything they told me. Now, since I have signed the contract, there is no way I can get my money back or stop them from taking the rest of my money. I have been royally screwed by Prosper, Inc.

I feel very strongly and told Prosper that I did not get the support or education for the amount they charged me of around $7000 or $8000. They also then tried to get me to spend another $2000 or $3000 for more education...I told them no way since they didn't provide sufficient support for the initial money that I spent. The salesman acted very surprised.
