My wife's company switched to Priority Health medical coverage on Jan 1, 2017. Our experience with this company is poor. My wife fell on a patch on ice on the sidewalk on Jan 11, 2017. The result was a shattered broken left ankle and dislocation of leg. Unable to stand or walk, a EMS unit took her to McClaren Hospital in Mt. Clemens, Mich. Due to extreme pain and swelling surgery was performed two days later(Jan 13) in that hospital. She was released to return home on Jan 15, 2017. Priority Health has as of today(April 9, 2017) has not processed and paid this claim. They seem to be a third rate company of the lowest order. Of course, the hospital and doctors would expect to be paid in a timely fashion as all businesses would. These medical bills which our employer/employees paid premiums in good faith should have been processed in a fair and timely fashion! This is affecting my perfect credit as this is a $60, 000 hospital bill plus follow up doctor visits and long weeks of physical therapy also. Priority Health, get it together!
