I have had the worst experience with Plush Media /www.Plushmedia.net . I purchased a fully functional e-commerce site and logo. I paid them $1125 in full through Paypal, which as also allowed me to be scammed. I have also filed an ic3.gov complaint, which is the FBI Internet crime division. On my confirmation sheet, they list the employees as Amber Allen, Michelle Stewart and Nicole Ortiz. They also provide a phone number which they refuse to answer and a FALSE Atlanta, Georgia address. My attorney sent them a letter through certified mail, which BOUNCED BACK. They also are not even a registered business in ANY state. They owner's real name is DOMINIQUE PRICE and she lives in San Diego, California.

The turn around time to complete my project was suppose to be 8 weeks. From the beginning I had communication issues, which I constantly tried to resolve, but they just ignored my emails. I emailed from NUMEROUS email addresses and didn't receive a response from a single email. Three days before my project was due to me they cancelled my project because my attorney contacted them. I had received NOTHING. No complete logo and have never even seen a mockup of my website. Since I had received absolutely nothing I asked for a full refund, they told me they would refund for the website but not for the logo which I NEVER received. I called and emailed NUMEROUS TIMES to get no response. After further looking into their business I found out that they do this to customers often. After 2 months I FINALLY RECEIVED after constant email since they deducted the logo design fee which was suppose to be delivered to me 3 months prior. They claimed they would refund me the difference for my website, and I have still received NOTHING! Plush Media/Dominique Price are truly SCAM ARTIST. I am a business owner. This "business" is completely inconsiderate and has horrible customer service. Now I am out of $1125 and have to pay a completely different company. Dominique completes bigger companies projects to get exposure, but when it comes to smaller companies she scams them. This company is FRAUDULANT. BEWARE!

Plush Media or should I say, "Dominique" is an amazing graphic designer. That being said, that was the only positive thing that I have to say about this company & my personal experience... Dominique was very difficult when it came to customer service. I could never, nor have I ever been able to speak to this woman on the phone. It took weeks to get any additional information or revisions done to my website. My money completely went to waist. I could never officially launch my website due to Plush Medias lack of seeing my website from start to FINISH! I feel like I should have sued her but she was MIA. Couldn't ever find her! If you happen to try and look her up via social media or anywhere on the Internet for that matter, you can't find her! You can't even find an image of what she looks like! She hiding because she's a professional scam artist! Look on her website right now. There's nothing but a contact page... Plush Media is the worst. Do it contact them unless you have months of your life and hard earned money to waist! #BuyerBeware

I wasn't going to leave a review on this site but to see that someone else has been through the same thing but worse, I felt it's A only right to worn other business owners before spending your hard earned money. It's been over a year and my website isn't functioning properly nor have we been able to launch our website due to having so many errors. After speaking with another highly recommended web designer they advised me that I was ripped off and that I would have to start from scratch. Plush media is horrible with communication and timing. They don't have a contact number and don't respond to emails if at all in a timely manner, Not to mention they have no idea what they're doing when it comes to coding on the back end of the website. This is why we were unable to get another web designer to fix the issues we were having now. I requested my website to be Mobile friendly and it is not. I started this project with plush media October 2014 and we still haven't been able to use the website at all. Their flashy and colorful designs will throw you off, especially if your a NEW business owner with the lack of website knowledge. I'm highly upset and disappointed that I have to pay additional money and put in additional time to get my website up and going. I would NEVER recommend anyone to this company they're not knowledgable as you would think, and if you're on a time schedule on completing a functioning website they're NOT the ones to go to. This process was extremely draining and a waste of major time. If I saw the complaint above FIRST I would have went the other way. It's sad that you put your trust in a company to deliver what was told but get the complete opposite. Here are 3 words of advice to ANYONE looking to get their website done by Plush Media. DONT DO IT! Thank me later

Wow, I see that Dominique is still at it! I too have had a terrible experience working with her and also have knowledge from a friend of mine who had a similar bad experience as well. Dominique is TERRIBLE to her customers. When trying to get your business, she's very sweet and attentive with answering all of your questions and making you feel assured that she can help bring your ideas for your business to life, but once she takes your money it's all over!

She makes you pay in advance because she knows after she gets done being nasty to you and wasting your time completing your project the way you want, you wouldn't want to pay her but rather find someone else. She told me that our website would be done in one month. WRONG. It actually took her more like 3, which held us up from opening our business like we had initially planned on doing. Then she was so rude and nasty about it, it felt like we might not even get the website from her, though we had paid for it! It took her FOREVER to even do our logo and she got so nasty with us about it because she kept giving us back things we didn't ask for nor want, it's like she wasn't even listening.

I literally had to piece together bits and pieces of things to give her a general idea of what I wanted things to look like and how I wanted them done because she just didn't care about what we wanted and tried to give us any ole thing. Then, made the huge mistake of letting her host our website, so we ended up running out of bandwidth and our site was down. We couldn't add more because it was hosted through her and she refused to allow us to. We had to sit almost a week with no website because she was being hateful and wouldn't add more bandwidth or turn it over to us so that we could move it off of her server.

She was the nastiest, most vile, unprofessional person I have ever had the displeasure of working with and I am so glad I never, ever have to deal with her ever again. I see Plushmedia.net is no "No longer accepting projects." which basically means everyone is on to her so she's ditched that business name to basically start over again. But I am sure it won't be too hard to figure out who she' will be masquerading around as sooner or later because she has a signature style and all of her stuff looks like the same.

Hello “Sha Davis” aka Shanell. Thank you for the compliment, I’d have to say you were quite difficult also. It also took me weeks to get information when you disappeared due to the flu, or maybe you don’t recall? You never officially launched (your fully designed website) due to the fact that you didn’t provide the correct login information to your hosting account and when it was requested numerous times you filed a fraudulent chargeback with your credit card company saying you never received a design. This is how your site ended up available for purchase as a template. Sue me? I should have sued you. On top of this you received numerous casting call flyers, etc for free. I’m definitely NOT hiding, and by the way it’s “waste” not waist.

Everything was great in the beginning, and trust me - by the end of our project I wished you'd have gone elsewhere also. 6 weeks easily turns into 3 months when you realize that a client wants a tacky colorful silhouette with blowing hair clashing gradients and rhinestones for a logo. Then proceeds to request excessive revisions (that one rhinestone is slightly lower, please change her lips, please change the curve of her hair, please change that strand of hair, please add more gradients).. it drives a design into the ground, and definitely results in sub-par work when clients think they are better designers (why hire one?).

Down to sending me edit requests like these (attaching a real file that I was sent lol..) YES definitely, I was vile and anything else you'd like to call me and was dealing with the exact same. Unfortunately, I don't have the patience or customer service skills needed to deal with clients such as yourself so I'd have to completely agree with everything you said about me being mean towards the end of the project .. after months of this, I was beyond ready to be finished.

No need to go start a new company, clients such as yourself are the reason I no longer work with completely new clients at all and instead freelance for only a select few ongoing projects. Yes, requests like these are why everything looks the same everywhere.. I truly wish you the absolute best, and we can definitely agree to disagree on how the project went (way) south.

I would like to recant my previous post. When I wrote it I was EXTREMELY upset and not in good spirits. I have asked to have this removed numerous times as the post I created is the ONLY one; but my request is not being honored. I went about this in a COMPLETELY wrong way. So I would like to include my apology in this as well. It was extremely poor of me to go about handling a dispute in this manner and as a business owner myself I understand that things happen. Please do not make any judgments based on my previous post.
Dominique has gone above and BEYOND! If you are familiar with her work she is CLEARLY the BEST web/graphic designer. Her work is remarkable and can’t be compared to anyone else. If your looking for top quality custom designs, you really don’t have to look any further than her. She can do it all. She is honestly a really good person with a really good character. She rectified our situation and even after my super bratty rant she agreed to complete my project. She was so understanding and extremely patient with me the entire time. She seriously brought my vision to life and I could not be happier or ask for more! She did my ENTIRE brand redevelopment and it looks AMAZING. Her work is the BEST quality I have ever seen. If you get a design from her, you seriously won’t be disappointed. I now have the visuals that I dreamed of. I really feel like I am now able to grow into the brand I've always wanted. I cannot express how grateful I am. If you need top notch work, you need to get a design from PM. Period.

I have requested to have this post removed SEVERAL times. At the time I did not create a login with complaint board as I was not prompted to do so, however I wrote the same report on scam report & the BBB 8/27/15 where I did create logins. The issue has been resolved 1000%. To show the validity of my updated previous issue, I updated the scam report

Please do not hold initial post against her. As I said above, I was disgruntled, and honestly just being a brat but the situation is BEYOND fixed. I couldn't be happier.
