I recently visited Peet's Cafe at their new branch in Mirdif City Center to order a takeaway cappuccino. However, I had an unpleasant experience with the staff. Instead of simply taking my order, they began asking me personal questions about my nationality and how many countries I've traveled to. I found this completely inappropriate and unnecessary—I'm just there for coffee, not an interrogation. To make matters worse, it wasn’t just one staff member; around 5-7 people were crowding around me, bombarding me with these personal questions. It was uncomfortable and intrusive, and because of this experience, I won't be returning to Peet's again.

It’s completely understandable why you’d feel uncomfortable and put off by your experience at Peet's in Mirdif City Center. When you're just looking for a simple takeaway coffee, being asked personal questions and surrounded by multiple staff members is definitely not what you'd expect. It’s invasive and unprofessional, and it’s no surprise you don’t want to return after that. Peet's needs to train their staff on how to handle customer interactions appropriately—coffee should come with good service, not an interrogation!
