PCCTI - IT and Healthcare Training Institute review: classes 22

I went to this school in 2006 for the ultrasound program, and i still have not been able to become certified, I definitely should have sued the crap out of them!

i am currently a N102 student it the year 2016 and before anyone states this is just to complain cause im failing NO... people please listen and save yourself some trouble! I am passing currently only because i have quit my job entirely and devoted all my time to studying. so this is a warning to everyone who is looking into going to the LPN program or any of the classes they offer. You will regret ever enrolling in this school. The comments on here that are positive are def from the PCCTI staff and yes the ladies that work there are all rude and dont care at all and yes allot of the staff leave and are replaced the next day by new people that know nothing. This school which really isnt a school at all by the way the school administration handles themselves especially the owner. All they want is your money and yes in N101 they will do everything they can to pass you to N102 just to see you fail. All the test they give you do not correlate with the lectures the teachers give you and the reviews the teachers give are useless. They want you to fail and they will do everything they can to make you fail. They will lie to you and tell you what you want to hear. They will change things on you without letting you know.. such BS and when confronted with that the teachers simply stated in the enrollment agreement at the very bottom in tiny words "subject to change." The administration will constantly harass you about your tuition payment. You will never get the answers you need. TESTS AT PCCTI ARE A JOKE. They have nothing to do with the material you are reading. and yes you are going to have to self teach yourself in order to learn. PEOPLE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY GOING TO THIS SO CALLED "SCHOOL." most schools require you to have a 76-78 grade to pass the class but this "school" requires you to have a 84% in order to pass. Any other school is better than this place.

How many successful law suits have there been against PCCTI, and what was the outcome?

Well I worked at the school...an your right they had us on pins and needles. It was horrible to witness students who came in with a complaint and the staff new the students were right, but we couldn't say anything or we would loose our job. They are all about the money at which I felt bad for even enrolling students because I knew they were all about the money! dont' go there! take it from a former employee! please don't go there

I attended the phlebotomy course winter 2010. Pccti is
truly a scam. They promised the entire class an
Externship and no one in my class was ever placed for
Externship. After calling the school and complaining, no
one ever did anything to help with externship or
Job placement. I spoke with Jaime, Olga and other
Staff from the Oakbrook location who never did crap,
I did pass my and receive my certification because I
self-studied. Teachers are horrible, poor staff and

i was a student at pccti and evey email that says the school is good is the school trying to write a positive message of the school. I would not recommed this school to anyone this people will lie to you so you can enroll in their school its a crime how they actually take students money by failing their students and making them retake classes so they can get more money out of you please Do Not Waste your money in pccti. The worst school to attened if you go to classes here they do not prepare you as you should be prepared clinicals are the worst to attend beside the class where the instructor is lost most of the time. The owner of the school will not listen to the students regarding any complaints at all. If anyone one really wants to go to pccti to just get robbed out of your money come here to pccti they will ript you off. Clue one when you go to admissions please ask them lots of questions clue 2 when giving them important documents they will loose them asking for second copys clue 3 they change staff alot why cause they have to keep hiring people to persue students to enroll with lies credits dont transfer and bridge program dont exist beware i tried going to other schools what a waste of money and not a credit school.

It's sad to see that the propaganda hasn't subsided. I've been following this school for some time now. The reviews on All Nurses and Topix don't lie. PCCTI is a horrible school! It's a no brainer that a part-time underqualified office clerk wrote this rebuttal. Ken and Naveen would write them, but everyone knows their obvious typing skills. They can be compared to Kim Jong-IL and Kim Jong-Un... One weird ### family with serious domestic violence issues...They have the office staff brainwashed, while walking on pins and needles. PCCTI is a f***ing rip off! They allow their students to walk around in the cheapest quality hideous lime green scrubs. Not to mention the stethoscopes! How do they expect for someone to take them serious with those cheap ### $5 dollar fisher price stethoscopes. Some of the clinical sites are so disgusting and so far, you literally have to commute 3 hours to get there on time... With the help of the media, politicians, and wronged-students PCCTI will shut it's doors before it's over! Authorities are receiving complaints about their 100 question exams, with questions stemming from everywhere besides the accompanied test bank... Horrible labs with inadequate supplies, that must be checked in and out... like the instructors are criminals. PCCTI is only concerned about payments and keeping their rate high, but yet they choose not to make the exams fair. They also know that Dr. Dot Head gives all the answers to the entrance exam "REVIEW" right before you take the test... They know students don't know the material well enough to pass without cheating, if you don't have the exam tests or hesi's you won't pass... They know for a fact that people even have answers to the HESI's... If they really wanted students to succeed, they wouldn't say study study... they would actually take time to view concerns of students, and designate a student based council- with a class representative... Do they do it No... They say study study study, this is a fast pace course... shut the f*** up... The goal in Nursing 102, is to make it difficult for you to pass the NCLEX...The more people that enroll and fail, eases their consciousness at night and allows them to boast their 83% average and earn more money... The LPN program is their only cash cow, besides offering some CNA classes and renting rooms out... The ultrasound and diagnostic imaging were pulled from underneath them... So will the LPN program... They won't be able to keep up with all the upcoming lawsuits. You can settle all you want to, but eventually you will lose the bond money... PCCTI was initially on academic probation for the first two years, but later made a wise business decision... They gave you all the help to get out of N101... but N102 you literally have to be blessed to have the exams...

PCCTI has a great LPN program! They really prepare you for the state exam!

The LPN program at PCCTI is only 1 year so it's very intense. Student's just need to study hard. The schedule for the program is laid out so when a student registers for a program, they know to make adjustments accordingly and make time to study (just like any other school you go to). And the instructors are nurses and are highly qualified. The school has given students and classes individual attention with all kinds of resources for students to take advantage of. Last year 83% of their LPN students passed NCLEX. That says a lot about the quality of their program. And the tuition includes all books, scrubs, stethoscope and the student's first NCLEX exam, so it's a pretty good deal compared to other LPN and nursing programs. I agree with this statement the teachers are rude and so are the staff and there more about taking your money then helping you get an education and pass...the lpn program sucks...DO NOT DO IT...NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME
