I paid an upfront fee of $5, 000.00 dollars for this company to help me with my loan modification. I hired them in April of 2010, my home went into forclosure in July of 2010. The forclosure date was set for October 13, 2010. They did not return phone calls to me, they lost my income tax papers and did not keep track of my file. I was transfered to 3 representatives to help me, but none did. I made the majority of the phone calls to my loan company and realized I had paid so much money for a service I could have completed myself. I was relaying information I had received from my phone calls to them. I could not believe what was happening! On October 7th I received a FED X from my loan company. It was a proposed agreement to modify my loan. It had to be signed and returned with a cashier's check for the amount of my new loan. It was to be returned by October 11, 2010 or my home was going to be forclosed on the 13th. I consulted with my representative and he was absolutely no help! he said to sign or lose my home. I was upset! He was supposed to help me negociate, but did nothing. I ended up signing a loan modification for more than I was told by my representative. At first I was told my new payment would be 1, 300.00 dollars. Then I was told between 1, 500 or 1, 600. I ended up paying more to my mortgage company to keep my home. My payment went up $60.00. I lost out on 5, 000.00 and definately did not get a fair loan modification. I feel I was pressured into signing the new loan modification to keep my home and the company that was supposed to help gained 5, 000, without doing anything for me.

I agree with the complaint 100 percent! Was taken for $7500.00 in 2010 when paragon financial group llc was scamming a lot of us.

I'm in the same boat and have filed with the attorney general. They first agreed that I was defrauded and said they would pursue the case. About a week later, I got a letter stating they cannot work on the case because the business was closed. Has anyone made any progress recovering their money? Does anyone have any contacts? Clearly, I didn't have much money to start with, which is why I was seeking help with my home (which I have now lost). I don't have money for a lawyer but am willing to take action in whatever way I can to assist us, as a group, to recover our money! -DC

I do not want to post the same story again and again. We were also taken for $5000. @ Cathie-AZ, I think they did cut their phones off, because now they all ring busy.

I continue to call and leave messages and emails on a daily basis. Call [protected] thru [protected] . I suggest we all do that until they shut their phones off. It makes me sick that Brian Cutright and his team of leaches got away with this. I got the same response from the AG's office...that they can't do anything because they are no longer in business. If they ordered him to payback all of the customers from Principle Reduction Group - he should be ordered to pay all of us that were scammed by Paragon Financial Solutions as well. And if he can't - he should be thrown in jail until he can.

We also agree and were scammed! They did nothing for us and took our money and would not refund it. We have contact the attorney general's office for help. They think the company is out of business, but I believe it is doing business under Principle Reduction Group, LLC. Everyone that has as issue with Paragon Financial should contact the Attorney General's Office. The were very interested in our case and actual cam out to our home so we could answer their questions. Pls if anyone has been ripped off by this company please do the same.

We also were scammed by Paragon and filed a complaint with the AG's Office a few months ago and haven't heard anything back from them. I kept extensive notes and have a file about 5 inches thick...we were clients of there's for over a year and after nothing - we requested a refund and got that IN WRITING, but still nothing. Empty promises and unanswered phone calls. Biggest mistake we ever made.

People...please file a complaint with the Attorney General, lets get this hole plugged now! We never received our mod and were told over and over agin to not contact our lender as Paragon would take care of things and if we were to get involved it could mess up the dealings...what a joke! Our mortgage payment through their negotiations went up a couple of hundred dollars and we were so far behind they added all sorts of penalties, it was disgusting! I have all emails correspondance saved between all of our contacts at Paragon. They went through 3 sales people with us and aour file was dropped each time!1 I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

We also paid $5000 to Paragon and they did not satisfy their contract. They closed our file before anything was done with our second and we only saved $200 with our first, plus all the unpaid interest was added to our mortgage. Everyone that has dealt with them should file a complaint with the Arizona AG.
