Biggest Mistake as I did not listen to my friends advice - Not to buys OSIM Products .

I went ahead to buy a uLove massage chair on 08.04.2018 at Paradigm Mall in JB
I had paid cash for this product of Rm 17, 588.00

We seldom use this product, due to my busy work days.
From date of purchase till the time chair was spoilt, I can say we could have used it about 8 times.

The day chair was spoilt was when my wife was on it and was at the extreme lower position of the chair. The power failed and lucky I was home to get my wife out of the chair. The chair was only 3 months over old and has broken down

I have called the salesman and inform him about the power issue which he then informed OSIM technical department .

On the same day after a while I had tired to work the chair and strangely the chair had power and so I moved the chair back to sit position and left it.

Next day the technician office had called me and I said the chair happened to be working.

2 days later, my wife tried to use the chair again to see if the issue of power cut-off still persist. Yes, again it happened and again at the extreme tilt down position.

I again called the salesman and told him the same.

The technician office called me again the next day and she said they had to take back my chair for repair. I asked when will you pick up the chair, she said in about 10 to 14 days. I was shocked and disappointed and asked her why so long.

She said it was MY FAULT FOR THE DELAY PICK UP AND REPAIR!
Such excellent Customer Service, blaming customers for their delays.

I then felt unhappy as salesman did not inform me about such delays if the chair were to have any issues. So here I feel that OSIM has a policy of not telling customer the truth about purchases made. If I had knew about after sales, repairs will take 10 - 14 days or longer, surely I would not have bought any OSIM products as mentioned by my friend.

Now I have lost all trust in ALL OSIM Products.

I demanded a full refund as the chair has broken down in less that 3 month use or so

OSIM says - No refund will be given as its a one ways policy to sell and no refund as mentioned by Customer Service Senior Executive Mr Dexter.

I wanted to speak to Director of OSIM and had tried all ways to get to Mr Tay Kim Sim (CEO for OSIM) . Nobody in OSIM will put my call through him even I tried calling and left messages for his secretary Ms May Seng to return my call has all been ingnored .

My chair has been taken back and I have been informed that it looks new and was well maintained. I told the despatch that took my chair back that I am looking at a full refund for this chair which I too informed CSSE Mr Dexter.

I ONLY got a reply from Mr Dexter that they will not refund for any purchases made with OSIM ONLY after they took back my chair.

A chair which has cost me Rm 17, 588.00 which I stupidly paid in Cash has broken down in about 3 months or so. Used about 8 times or so and has broken down under their warranty period of a Well Known brand in Malaysia and Singapore treats their customers in such a way .

Worst everyone keeps their CEO away from the truth or I wonder if he too is keeping away from his problems on his products

I have lost my feeling for using OSIM products so how I am going to look at this chair everyday in my life inside my house when I had such a bad experience from Customer Service onwards.

My Ulove chair is sitting at OSIM service center till today (10.09.18 ) its been about a month or so and everyone is just quite about my unhappiness

My Advice To All - Stop buying OSIM products
