I called on 9/12/22 to Ohio Edison [protected] to end service in my name on 9/13/22. I spoke with Bryce from customer service and he stated that I could get a medical certificate signed by my physician, to help with the $2700 balance I will owe. I stated to Bryce that I did not have a medical condition, and he stated, it doesn't matter, it could be for anyone in the house. I stated to Bryce that I was NOT GOING to have my physician LIE about a medical condition. It is illegal and immoral. I was then transferred to Nikki in the service department. I told her I needed the electric turned off in my name as of September 13, 2022. She stated she would note that service ends September 13, 2022 and I asked her if my son, WHO OWNS THE HOUSE can put it in his name, and nikki stated, yes as long as he calls before 6pm today, September 12, 2022. My son, WHO OWNS THE HOUSE, called around 5:00pm to Ohio Edison [protected] and was transferred several times regarding starting electric at his address. He and I spoke with Lauren, Keesha, Holly (Supervisor) and Jennifer (Manager ext 52265) and ALL DENIED my son, the owner of the house, electricity service, until I paid my balance of $2700. They DISCRIMINATED against my son, bc he is associated with me. So that means, anyone who is associated with this address or myself will be DENIED ELECTRICITY bc I owe a bill. My son and I are 2 different people, we have 2 different social security numbers, birth certificate, license number, YET JENNIFER at extension 52265, DENIED ELECTRICITY FOR ANOTHER CUSTOMER, who has impeccable credit. She was laughing at my state of confusion and irritation, she stated several times, SHE HAS ALL AUTHORITY OF ALLOWING OR DENYING. Why does this person, have the POWER to DENY my son, WHO OWNS THE HOUSE, electricity. I stated to Bryce and Nikki to send me the total bill I owe and I would pay it off. Yet Keira, Holly and Jennifer ext 52265 (manager) all had the audacity to say, I WAS NOT PLANNING ON PAYING IT. I am so upset, crying and my anxiety is through the roof, that these 3 would be so insensitive and feel the need to feel superior over me and my son. I WILL BE contacting

I have also contacted my attorney, who will be REPRESENTING me and others who OPTED OUT of the class action lawsuit in the HB6 Emmons vs FirstEnergy Corp case# CV 20 935557 that is currently in process, bc the settlement of $49 million dollars accounts to a measly $5.33 per customer.
I will fight this racism, illegal denial of service bc of my sons association with me and discrimination of DENIAL OF ELECTRIC SERVICE, per Keisha, Holly (Supervisor) and Jennifer (Manager ext 52265) on Monday, September 12, 2022. Disgusted by these representatives who state THEY HAVE ALL AUTHORITY to choose who has the "CREDIT" for the luxury of electricity. Communism is alive and here.
