I have to agree with how you feel in regards to their vehicles. I purchased a Pontiac from them only to have the engine light come on and the car itself having problems staying in gear. I went back to them in regards to the issue and spoke with Nick Jr and he said that they did not make much off of the vehicle and sold it as is since it was a trade in. While I understand the risk of getting a used vehicle, I too took out the warranty to cover all major issues in regards to the car. I told them that this was not how business should be done as I was not informed of any issues prior to looking at the car. They do not like to take ownership of at least giving a car a tune up or even making sure the car is in a functioning condition. I am now waiting for my warranty to take effect in order to get issues resolved that they themselves neglected to handle. I even had to pay for a piece for the air conditioner when I called them and told them the check engine light came on which only confirmed that they never checked out this vehicle. When I took it back again for it cutting off on me, they claimed that the car never cut off but then proceeded to tell me that the car needed a tune up, motor mounts and an ignition coil when they put it on the machine when they clearly didn't do this before. I do not see that they have any type business integrity in regards to trying to make sure a vehicle i purchased only two weeks ago was in good condition before having to use my warranty so soon, The cars on their lot on Passyunk Avenue must be their lemon graveyard as they don't always have that lot open. I understand you have much inventory but you don't give all of your inventory the same care. What you try to salvage off of a vehicle because you do not want to incur a cost shows that poor business decisions and purchasing of vehicles for resale are a top priority to these dealers. No one wants to take ownership of what they have done or have neglected to do in order to correct a problem that was clearly evident to them. I may not have paid over 4k for the car but my money should have been worth more than this if I am to be a customer of theirs. When I total up the taxes and a repair plus and inspection, I did pay 4k for a car I am unsure of.
