NextCare Urgent Care Clinic is not true to their Mission statement right off their website: "Our Mission:
To treat every individual with sincerity, respect and compassion, and provide prompt, affordable, quality health care every day of the year.

This location closes at 8:00 pm on Weekdays, or so the signs say, but if you get there at 7:15pm they will refuse to see you. Our 3yr old son needed some help, we drive to this location and the employee said sorry we are closing. Not a sole was in the clinic, and when asked about why the sign said they closed at 8:00pm and they can't see us, the Employee had no response other than sorry, come back and see us tomorrow.

We suggest seeing (supporting) other local clinic's in the area with better employee's. It's better to see a Doctor or NP that actually cares about your health instead of how fast they can get off work. Stay away from the Large Corporate clinics. They cost more and you get less service.

Lack of doctor's / just a PA who did not give me proper treatment or care and was pushed away with a precription that knowone can afford, the inccorrect one at that.. and told to go and just get an over the counter medication, When i was following up from a previous and still needed antibiotics...
I have filed a claim and am reporting To AZ-- BBB...
I feel my money was taken with no care or concern for my health...
Shame on them...Why have thesec clinics if they are not gonna properly look you over...

I had an NP who had that "I'm running the show" attitude. Unbelievable! I had some rare side effects with birth controls before so now I'm always weary who other meds and always reserch it first. I found that one of the antibiotics have been linked to cancer so I asked her if she could prescribe this one antibiotics since it has low side effects and you can take it in two days. She got offended immediately and told me that she will decide what she will prescibe to me. WTH right? Figuring I must upset this woman for simply suggest a med, I apologize to her as it was not my intentions to do that. She left and got me the presciption. A friggin cream instead of pills. She definitely was trying to prove her point. I asked the receptionist about it and she asked Cheryl the NP, came back and told me that this was the "drug of choice" and they do not provide oral prescription for that infection. I point it out that she tried to prescribe a pill for it. Yeah I'm sure the NP felt stupid for getting caught in her lies. She came up to the front desk pointing her finger at me and starting snapping! Yelling that I insulted her when I pulled out my phone to show her the meds. She got upset over that. Could you believe that? I point it out that she made a false report on my history too. Anyhow, long story short, she yanked my papers from me then changed it by adding more lies to my report. I'm still enraged about the whole incident. Not all doctors at Nextcare are like that but they need do something about those "Doctors"

I went to the urgent care center on transit road, i didn't have I'D and or insurance figuring, I would be able to pay them off like i normally do on time. The lady at the desk said the doctor can't see you, even if i had the money up front.

PAs are the best of both worlds since they are licensed and extensively trained health care providers and their charts are reviewed by a physician. So when you are seen by a PA your care is also overseen by a physician.

NextCare had your records reviewed by its Regional Medical Director who determined the care met our quality standards and protocols. Neverless we are disturbed that you do not feel you received appropriate care. We would love the chance to discuss this with you. You are welcome to call our quality liaison at [protected]. -NextCare Urgent Care

This same thing just happened to me in a Tucson AZ clinic. I had previously seen a doctor in a nextcare clinic in Phoenix AZ and recieved good treatment, so i figured- ok, i would follow up at one near my home. It was in the early afternoon. knowone in this specific clinic. i went back to see the PAC- or whatever he is. He didnt even want to look at me. All i needed was some more antibiotics to finish killing the infection. And, what i got instead was a your just fine and a blow out the door with a precription that knowone can afford. They took my money without hestitation didn't offer no suggestions, So i called the 800 # to see what they could do to help and instead they sent me back to the office and got told for me to go and just get a medicine over the counter..
This is crap.. So i am filing a claim, against them and to the BBB as well..
