The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

My Web Pilot has over 6 complaints against them with the BBB, FBI Internet Fraud Dept, Florida Attorney General, County Prosocuters Office and other various organizations. They were hired to redo websites, or build new ones, took payment and did not finish any of the sites. We were all given a 6-8 week projected finish date, and 9-12 months later still being strung along did not finish the sites. Take them offline and refuse to refund and return existing files. Dave and Julie Darby are the owners. It is theft by deception. Please do not use them. They come across as very knowlegeable but are not web designers. They present a great facade with no real site behind the shell. He is very abusive and manipulating. They gain access to your bank accounts and all other personal information. Do not use them!

I still am surprised that people like Dave and Julie Darby exist and are still living off of other people hard earned money. I can only believe that what goes around come around. They are OVER due.

They took a deposit for my website the week Hurricane Ike hit and then NEVER started on my site. After I very politely asked for my deposit to be refunded, they threatened me and refused to respond or take my calls.

Do NOT use them!

Since the posters above Dave and Julie Darby of Twisted Bulbs, My Web Pilot, have not removed their slanderous posts about us we would like to tell you what they actually did. They were hired, paid almost $11, 000 to redesign our social networking website for shelter and rescue dogs. Money which came from my inheritance after my Dads passing. Which they knew. They continued to stall saying they had money issues and could not finish the site. After waiting a year (with six to eight week completion date as contracted) they kept our money, did not finish the site and posted slander such as this to further try and stop us from doing business. Our site features rescue dogs, Lifes Abundance pet food (which these people were distributors for as well) and Life Force products. Both VERY stable businesses. Not scams as Dave Darby states above. We hired them believing they were great people and actually thought we had become friends and they understood our mission. We were then contacted by other clients and told what they had done to them and thier business. That is when we realized what they were doing. There were criminal complaints filed in NJ and Florida against them. To no avail though. As explained to us by the authorities and our attorney, the scam goes as follows, similar to when you hire a contractor to do work on your home, they require a deposit, you pay them, they do minimal work, continue to ask for more money to cover thier costs, keep your money saying you wanted more and more work done and then walk away placing the blame on you. By law since they did the smallest amount of work, (putting up a shell with very pretty pictures) they cannot be charged with a criminal charge. It would be a civil case we were told. But since these awful people do not have anything, it would be more money and we would not get our money back since they do not own anything or have anything. We were told we had a very strong case and would get, not only our money back, but lost wages, money for emotional duress, etc. for their breech of contract and slander on this site. There are many others who they have done this to and gotten away with it. One being a single Mom with two children. As you can see by the sociopath ramblings above they are extrememely unprofessional and post personal and fabricated information about you after taking and living off your money. Bottom line, they were hired to do a job, did not and kept the entire amount of money paid. No site, nothing to show for almost $11, 000. If you would like more information please feel free to contact us. Now you have the entire story. When you google us or however you reached this site, you now have the entire story. Stop by our site that we put together with ning.com and enjoy being a part of our community of Doodles and Poos and helping find rescue dogs homes! www.doodlesandpoos.com

The posters above, Dave and Julie Darby of MyWebPilot.com/twistedbulbs.com were my web designers who were paid in full, did not complete my site nor refund my money. Hiring them and working with them was the worst experience in my life.

The closer we get to the launch of our new website, the better it looks, thanks in large part to our web design partners, Julie and Dave Darby of MyWebPilot. They not only delivered a great design and surmounted some very challenging programming hurdles in the backend, they built in very favorable costs because they loved our mission [Check out some of their work for career women]. Moreover, they recognized the scarcity of our resources and understood the complex layers of our service, delivering great solutions every time.

It's our turn to help repay them by letting you know they're available. Email Julie Darby at jdarby@mywebpilot.comThis e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call her at [protected] and let her know MentorNet sent you.

Julie Darby and her husband Dave have been nothing short of amazing to me and my company. When I first met Julie, she wasn't just some shmuck I met on DesignQuote - like other designers have been - she was a great person with a great personality. We talked for hours about my project. They kept everything about my project confidential. They respected that I have a budget and they have done nothing but encourage me and send out encouraging IM's to me about how they were so excited to do my project. Their amazing people that work extra hard to make sure their client is satisfied. I don't know what Miss C Meldrum has against these people. Everything they have done with me has been fair and legit. Miss C Meldrum has a severe attitude problem when it comes to finances and should go seek a counselor for mental help.

As for Julie Darby and her wonderful husband Dave, I will continue to recommend them and use them for all my web design needs. For the other people that are considering using Julie Darby or Dave - I suggest you contact a source that actually knows them and understand the kind of work they did for me and for my business.

Feel free to email my personal asisstant at: yourpersonalassistantTG@gmail.com to discuss this issue.

Thank you,
CS

Your assumptions again prove nothing except that you are continuing your act of libel which we will address post-mediation. From your last 2 posts, one can only conclude that your 'proof' is that you've now lost the 2nd round of arbitration in addition to the first (both of which you were confident you would win) and because of both losses that we should have initiated file transfer/ownership to you.

We have called twice a week for 5 weeks since our last rebuttal and the 3 weeks since you posted above that you lost mediation once again - this time with your own long-term bank - however, they continue to tell us that it is pending.

It is insane that it takes this long and that, as the cardholder, you are getting updates faster than us from the mediation, but this was the course of action you chose, not us.

Once we have confirmation that you cannot try to take both the work and the money paid for the labor, we will of course send files which is what we could have done 4 months ago had you not started this process.

Unfortunately, some business relationships sour and one bad apple can spoil a bunch.

The poster here - both anonymously and as a commenter is Cindy Meldrum of Doodles and Poos, LLC. (doodlesandpoos.com) located in Manasquan, New Jersey. Ms. Meldrum has filed many and multiple complaints even using fictitious names to post and contact our current clients. Her methods have been unscrupulous and un-professional and her attempts are to paint us as such.

Ironically, Cindy came to us on a positive referral from another client who, in 18 months, grew her business 400%, earning revenues of 5 digits monthly on our system.

One of our core strategies is to help and encourage clients to build up buzz and momentum by building an audience base during pre-launch so that, at launch, their site already has momentum and energy.

While Ms. Meldrum's site was progressing and developing to her satisfaction which was stated repeatedly, her pre-launch plan of bringing in large affiliates was not working and her financial pressures were mounting. She then began attacking us and demanding more and more features and changes without regard to her fixed budget. Despite our best and repeated efforts to self-mediate a resolution, we were unable to do so. Having done so many things above and beyond the agreement in order to help her business, we could not continue as it was to the point of affecting our other clients.

Ms. Meldrum delayed receipt of her files by filing a complaint to reverse her account charges/payments citing fraud, dishonesty, non-delivery and much more.

Last week, third-party mediators ruled against Doodles and Poos and allowed the transactions citing evidence that Ms. Meldrum's charges and claims were false, malicious and grossly over-exaggerated.

Dave
