On January 23, 2009 Myself (Sandra Burgos) and my husband (Manual Burgos) contracted the services of Legal Modifications Attorney at Law which is a company ALSO DBA. Loan Modification Florida, Inc. as well as DBA. Brian Korte and Wortman Attorney At Law for services in a Mortgage Loan Modification case.

On such date, we paid a fee of $1718.30 in advance to cover the costs of such service. After several attempts to contact the company, we were told in numerous occasions that our files had been lost, we were also routed to a voice mail machine many times until we were asked to resubmit all of our paperwork months later.

Even after having done this, almost two years passed without anything concrete coming out of this process.

We were then forced to take alternate actions and finally surrendered our mortgage through a bankruptcy process.

Mr. Korte's office then graciously notified us in writing that the case was no longer being pursued since the bankruptcy had taken care of it.

We feel as if Mr. Korte's office never intended to take care of our case or provide the service they charged us so much for. We lost our home and we are demanding a refund of the paid fees

We have also learned that the request of upfront fees in exchange for a home loan modification may very well be considered as fraudulent practices and we would like to formally complain against Mr. Korte and his related companies for such act.

Brian Korte is to Foreclosure Defense as China is to sheetrock.
Unfortunately, the rating system here only goes down to one star. I wouldn't even give hime that. You would have a better shot in court with a chimp. At least the chimp would show up to court if you promised it a few bananas. I paid 16, 000 Bananas to him and his partner in crime Attorney Jay Romano Esq. All these two idiots had to do was show up to court. They lied and said they did. The cool thing today is, when you do a poor job, its all on the web. My case and their negligence is all there in black and white. I just hope "one" person reads these ratings on a great on line service like this so they can avoid getting burned.

Brian K. Korte Esq. has taken THOUSANDS of dollars from homeowners in need of a defense attorney. He talks a great game and puts on a terrific show. Only problem is, he doesn’t show up to court. You would have a better shot at saving your home hiring a circus clown with big shoes, a red nose, a little car and a bazaar colored wig! At least a good clown would put an enduring smile on the face of a very stressed judge and make him laugh with a hand made balloon poodle. Make no mistake… Clowns need work. I would bet that if I hire a birthday clown, he would “show up” to a paid gig. Brian Korte, does not. I know circus clowns though Brian Korte is a clown, he is no circus clown.
