Motown Harley Davidson review: Get back to original price that was discussed.

To whom it may concern:

I recently took a trip to your dealership in hopes of finding a new Harley. AS I came in, I was to meet a guy by the name of Ryan Last. That didn’t happen, they sent me Alyssa Catenacci, delightful young lady.

She took me out to the used bikes in the warehouse and we found a couple that would work well found what I was wanting to do. AS we returned into the dealership we talked and then met Steve, nice guy (so it seemed at the time) so right away he started pushing new bikes, and me being me well what do you have to offer. And we proceeded down that road. All the time stating a refinance price, never told me the interest rates on anything. I called my wife and out her on speaker phone and she asked him a lot of questions including the interest rates and again he would not say, finally I asked point blank what the rate was, and he said 7.99 from Harley. So, I took it on his word, so we agreed it was a fair price and all the while Alyssa is being supportive of my decision to trade in my old bike which I have had for 17 years. Mind you at this point it is now reaching 5 pm or so and I have been there since 10:30 or 11 am. So, we are 6 hrs. into me being there and then I go to meet everyone, got my free shirt and proceeded to the parts counter to see if I wanted anything off that so we looked at exhaust and agreed on Rinehart slip ons chrome with black tips. So, continue with our tour and end up at service Alyssa and the service guy discuss the addition of mufflers all is well she hands him the papers. So here I wait to get wait to sign the paperwork and I get in there and it’s just a barrage of sign this sign that its just a blur I get done signing, plus couldn’t understand him hardly and head home, get home, and the wife is furious about the purchase so on the phone I text that Ryan back and tell him the deal is off. No answer back or nothing. Can’t sleep so at 2:54 am I sent an email out to Alyssa and to Mj Johnson tell them to cancel the deal. Waited until 10:05 am tried calling Mj Johnson and his phone went to a voice mail telling me his line was not in service at this time. Then proceeded to call the dealership about the matter and get ahold of someone conveniently no one was available Alyssa was on days off and they Said that Steve was there, and they would have him call me. Well waited till 10:45 am and sent another email to Mj and then texted Alyssa and told her I didn’t want to get the bike. And she texted rite back stating she would get ahold of her bosses. Then Steve Called me @ 11:23 am Stating it was his day off and he would see what he could do the next day. Why did he not call and cancel rite away? So anyway, next day rolls around and Steve is supposed to call me back at 10 am and finally call him at 10:40 am… and he says he is busy dealing with some report with no consideration for what’s going on in my world. And I asked him what the deal was, and he said nothing they could do. Deal is already made, and a deal is final. And I asked if I gave them 1000 dollars if we could get out of it. Nope no way said he talked to the bosses, and they said it wouldn’t even pay the taxes. So that night I finally start going through the paperwork and see all kinds of stuff that was e signed by myself, but I never signed. And see there is a VIP passport in my thing that cost me 2799.00 that I don’t need I live 200 miles away, HD tire and wheel for 989.00 that I don’t need, 2019.00 for extended service plan don’t need. All this like I said was a blur when we went through it that day. And, I see I signed a paper stating I received the bike that day. Not true it wasn’t done with getting serviced until that Friday so right there is a breach of contract and the state contract u had me sign also says that I took possession of said vehicle, again no possession. It wasn’t even ready…

This is Friday So I get a text from Alyssa wanting to know if I had ordered black mufflers or chrome, I told her chrome with black tips she says ok she will straighten it out

and I get a text at 4:56 am hey Ur bike is ready you can come and pick it up…From Fiddy so I inform him they are delivering it on Thursday next week…

So, ask Alyssa is she could get a pic with everything done to it and she says sure and sure enough on Tuesday I get pics and the backrest is on it that we agreed upon and the mufflers are on, but they are the wrong ones all chrome no black tips. Totally what I didn’t want by this time I’m getting tired of fighting…

So, Thursday comes along, and I get a call at 8:50 am and its Bill and he asked if I’ll around between noon and 1 I said yes.

12:30 ish he pulled in and we exchanged bikes, and he went on his way……

So, I’m writing you this to share my experience with the whole situation, very disturbed with the outcome.

Maybe we can resolve some of the issues.
