On October 24th, I had purchased a vehicle from Motors Northwest, Tacoma, WA. Almost immediately of the parking lot I had some warning lights turn on indicating FCW failure. I did some research and called a few mechanics, and it appeared that this warning wasn't too much to worry about. I was in town for a few days for work and had parked the car while I was in town. I drove it back to Idaho on October 26th. On my drive home I had multiple problems occur. The first was that the stop light sensor went out and my brake lights stayed on. Shortly after this, every warning light came on. Every system had shown a fault. It was quite concerning. I contacted Motors Northwest regarding the matter, stating my concern for a major defect with the electrical system. Their response was that they offered the extended warranty and that if it still drives, then the implied warranty wouldn't cover it.

A few other things that bothered me after the fact. The glove box was found to be locked during the test drive. I had mentioned how I would have liked that unlocked before I took possession but later had found it still locked. I was also told during the signing of my paperwork that one of the individuals had taken the vehicle to fill the tank, but had only put a couple gallons in it, giving it less than a 1/4 tank of fuel.

Country of complaint: United States

Desired outcome: To warn people of the things this dealership isn't disclosing. If possible, get the dealership to cover if the electrical system has major defects.
