I purchased a 2013 Ford F-150 2 months ago and purchased the motorist assistance plan extended warranty, my truck has a timing chain and cam phaser rattle on start up and it doesn’t run right, the warranty covers the problem but they want to send an inspector to verify the claim, according to them the truck has to be left at the dealership until he gets there up to 2 days then has to verify and send in paperwork all the while I’m out of a vehicle and no way to get to work, and they don’t do rentals until it’s verified, and then it’s reimbursed only, and who knows how long that might take, the repair is 12 hours so that’s 2 days in the shop, I just want it fixed or I’m dropping the warranty, why pay for something if they won’t back it up
