Original estimate of the cost to move my household goods from MD to AR was almost $700.00 less than the final cost when goods were picked up in MD. Bonnie, the representative who calculated the original cost from my descriptions over the phone, quoted a very different inventory than the descriptions of some of these same goods on the final bill and she never suggested I should request an onsite estimate. She either needs training for making such estimates or should encourage customers to obtain onsite inventories for more accurate quotes. This company gouged me big-time!

I wish I could give NO STARS. I would NEVER use this company again! I STRONGLY URGE ANYONE CONSIDERING THIS COMPANY TO LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE - Bonnie quoted us the wrong price for a move from Maryland to Chicago and misled us throughout the process on the delivery date and when we tried to reach her after our shipment had been picked up, she did not return phone calls. The guy (forgot his name) that picked up our furniture added a $200.00 dollar cost to the estimate because he was told we only had 10 boxes were included in the shipment VICE what Bonnie quoted us as a price to move a one bedroom apartment. Before our shipment was picked up we told them when we would need to receive our goods within a short window. Bonnie said if the shipment was picked up early enough, the window would not be a problem. Although the shipment was picked up on May 22 with a requested delivery day of May 31, we did not received it until June 4. Additionally, while we were waiting for our shipment no one would give us a status of our shipment or return voicemails. We finally contacted the dispatcher (Dave) who immediately start stating the fine print in the contract on when they were obligated to deliver. We finally got him to give us the delivery driver's cell number. The driver Manuel, told us it wasn't his fault because he didn't pick up the load until June 1st, but that we would have the furniture two days following our conversation because he had two stops to make enroute to us. While we were still pissed, at least we had an expected date and we could coordinate elevator usage with the apartment complex. The very next day we called Manuel again to confirm the date and time and he told us the date had change to one day later because another stop had been added to his route. HOWEVER, IF WE PAID HIM $300.00 more dollars it would be worth it to him to deliver to us on the previously promised date. We decided not to pay, and waited for the delayed date. When the furniture finally arrived they tacked on another $100 dollars because the loading dock was far from the freight elevator. I will say that Manuel really hustled once he arrived and unloaded the truck within an hour. All and all, the total delivery was $300 dollars more than we were quoted and 5 days later than we were led to expect. IF YOUR TIME AND MONEY IS IMPORTANT TO YOU, you may want to consider my experience.
