I had Lasik surgery at Dr. Michael Mazaheri. The doctor was talking to his assistants the whole time like I wasn't even there, and made me feel like he wasn't even paying attention to me. My results were not very good initially and after a month it all went bad. Mister Michael Mazaheri would not see me again until I pushed the issue then he didn't listen and barely checked my eyes, post surgery they treat you awful.
I feel like they took my money and ran. Now its almost been a year and my eyesight is worse than it started. I cant see at night. When I went to see another eye doctor, he was shocked at the scarring on my eyes and said it was the worst she's seen. I don't recommend Michael Mazaheri Eye Center.
I completely disagree with the complaint written above. I visited M Lasik Center and had a fantastic experience. I highly recommend the M Lasik Center, Dr. Mazaheri and his staff. Dr. M made me feel very at ease, while he explained the pros and cons and the procedure in detail and answered all of my questions. This helped reduce my fears about having eye surgery. I liked the fact that I didn't feel any pressure to make a decision right then. The day of the procedure, I was glad that Dr. M and his staff explained in full detail what was going to happen in each step of the procedure and also what to expect after. I truly appreciate the experience, compassion and friendliness that he offers his patients.

Lasik Eye Surgery in 2009 has lead to severe vision loss as a result of my now having post lasik ectasia. What is ectasia? Your worst nightmare. Guaranteed life of complete hell. My cornea is now so thin as a result of post-lasik injury and has formed a bulge that is verrrry painful, severely blurring my vision (90% blind...yep I'm blind folks), and causing a major loss in quality of life, loss of income, and non-stop misery...oh and a divorce to boot. My wife was not happy with my ability to fulfill my duties/tasks after having this nightmare ruin my life. Frankly I don't blame her...I can't make anyone happy in the condition I'm in. I am clinically depressed, living with high anxiety, and finding myself unable to do what I used to do in my daily life. I am a victim of lasik eye surgery and feel that it should be permanently banned. This is a cry for help as well as a hope this horrible surgery will not destroy another person's precious eyes.
I would love to meet the person who made the above comment because I don't know of too many blind people that can type on the internet so well. This person is not blind nor a decent human being because we don't have such a patient; and in fact, if you know and can tell us who this person is we would like to serve him/her with a law suit. This complaint board has become a source for competition to hurt good reputations and if you check Dr. Michael Mazaheri's state board reputation on line (link provided below) you will see these allegations are false. In fact, congressmen, government officials and physicians are choosing us due to our high success rate. A law firm has been hired to investigate these activities on the internet. A $1, 000 reward can be picked up at our office upon telling us if you know who these internet false accusations are coming from (we would need a name and address with proof).Please call 972.889.3937
