Mark Goodridge review: contractor 6

We are seniors who have used Mark Goodridge's snow removal for two years. Last year he collected a $100 refundable deposit at the beginning of Oct. We have never received that refund. Initially he promised yard work instead of the money. He put us off on at least five different dates. We finally asked for a refund of the money. We have messaged him at least 12 times and he longer even bothers to reply. His snow removal services were frustrating with a 3 day wait after snow fall not being unusual. This also involved many messages and lots of frustration. Save yourself this frustrating experience. Find someone else.

You know what a total liar you are u got me to build u a form out of wood and rebar then u wanted your deposit back after that was done get real . I did return you money at your house and deducted what it cost and my labour . You made a big mistake putin my sons picture on here

Saddened to hear that I wasn't the only one to be taken advantage of by Mark Goodridge (Straight Arrow). Part of his quote included removing all of the rundle rock around my trees that he and his partner put in the year before and replacing it with cedar bark (his idea). I really liked the rundle rock, but trusted his opinion. I agreed on a price for the removal of the rundle rock and layering the bark. The rundle rock was expensive but I could use it elsewhere so I was okay with the project. When I arrived home I was shocked to see that they were putting the bark over the rock. When questioned, Mark told me that it was too hard to remove all of the rock so they removed some but not all as promised. That's what I paid for. I even paid extra to have other work that he had done for me guaranteed (in writing) and he didn't stand behind his guarantee and was very argumentative with me when I tried to call him on it. He didn't care, he had choice words for me and never fulfilled his commitment. He comes across as being very helpful and he liked to say "I'm doing this out of the kindness of my heart" ... no Mark you were not. There was nothing that I didn't pay for. I could go on, but I think that you get the gist. What I did learn is that he will only show up if owed money so please do not paid for the job in advance. I would never recommend him for any project!

This person is liar and I’m going to take you to court for putting a picture of my son . You really cooked your own goose on this one . Unreal that you would not only lie but put a picture you found on my wife’s Facebook . See you in court 😀
