I have been contacted by numerous representatives about my Macy's bill.
I made a full payment back in February of this year. It was 2 days late and I am aware of that. I was sick and couldn't get to making the payment on time. I went online and chatted with a representative. That person said if I made the full payment of $142.58 (I believe that was the amount) that the late charge would be waived (or at least that's what I was under the impression).
I tried numerous times to log in to check my statements and to try to correct this, but Macys shut down my online access and closed my account. I have been a customer and have made my payments but for some reason, they (Macy's and Citi bank) do not want to help me in correcting this. The last Citi bank rep that called me was yesterday, Sunday, and he accused me of being a liar and that I was "upset because I was not getting what I wanted." He was rude and aggressive in the way he was speaking to me. Of course, I hung up on him.
I haven't been able to get help from anyone. Can someone please help? I made a full payment (2 days late) back in February. I am on disability and every day is a struggle to make payments. I was a regular customer but now i find it hard to even step foot into a Macy's. Thanks in advance.
