Loucri Jewelers review: Fake diamond rolex watch

August 2, 2018 I purchased a watch from Loucri directly. A Men's Rolex Day-Date President 18 K Gold Automatic Diamonds everywhere. It was item #[protected]. I sent a wire transfer to them from my bank Northern Trust (I have a copy) for $15, 950. Then on August 25, 2018 I sent them a check for $ 950 to increase the size of the bezel (I also have a copy of the check)

In November of 2021 I wanted to sell the watch for money for Christmas. I took it to Jewelry Buyers (in the Jewelry building) in San Diego because they dealt with many Rolex watches. It was discovered that the watch case and the watch band were not 18K gold (as stated in your description "18K Solid Gold Case" and the Bracelet and case were not Rolex. The watch was only worn a couple of times and it was kept in a safe.

I sent Loucri Jewelers pictures of the watch that was listed and pictures of the watch that I purchased. I expected to send the watch back and be reimbursed for the watch ($16, 900) since it was not as advertised. Not only were they rude but accused me of trying to scam them. I live in Scottsdale, Arizona so I'm sure I would pick them out of all the jewelers in the US to scam. I had an attorney look into it and found this out

The federal statute that is applicable is 18 U.S. Code § 2320. The penalties are super severe: for a person transferring counterfeit goods - fine of up to $2, 000, 000 or imprisonment of up to 10 years. The term "traffic" in the statute is broadly defined to include the sale of a product that bears a counterfeit trademark. The general statute of limitations on this law (both criminal and civil) is 5 years - so you are still well within that time frame.

Then we can file a report with the New York State Department - State Division of Consumer Protection, report the fraud to the Federal Trade Commission, then file a report with the Better Business Bureau, then a report with the DOJ - Consumer Fraud Division. The laws regarding counterfeits heavily protect and favor the consumer, its very easy to file the reports and many of these agencies will contact you within a few days of the report.
