Last night I received an email from amazon indicating that an amazon account was opened in my name in another state. There were purchases made around $8,000.00 on this supposely acct. The email said if I didn't make purchases to contact [protected]. I contacted the phone number and asked for the account to be shut down and no purchases go through. A lady by the name of jenny brown, a supposed amazon rep. In seattle washington was more than willing to help me if I went to walgreens to buy a red amazon card in the amount of $200.00. I thought the card that she was talking about was some kind of security card. She asked me for the info from the card and then stated that the card was invalid and she couldn't close my amazon account. My acct was deducted $200.00 and walgreens confirmed that the account was activated. She stole the money. She then asked me for the last four of my debit. I was frazzled and confused and gave them to her. Then I was worried and I called keybank to inform them that I thought I was scammed. I put a stop on my debit. While on the phone with keybank the representative said it was a good thing I called because there were 8 pending purchases waiting to go through. I filed a fraud report with keybank. I want to make you aware that she was using a landline, [protected], level 3 communications phone. Thank you. Cathy hurst, [protected]. Last night around 6:00 pm. I received the email. Also the email that was sent was somehow removed from my phone so I have no proof of the email.

Desired outcome: CATCH THIS CRIMINAL AND PROSECUTE HER.
