I traded two vehicles in and was given $3 toward my trade on a 2003 Honda Odyssey. Salesman was totally deceptive in dealing with me. Lured me in by leading me to believe that I was getting a good deal. A Honda for $2K less than book value. Showed me a carfax that was over a year old. Went through some guaranteed credit approval program that approved me $6K ended up being charged a $4K financing fee, on top of a ridiculous interest rate that left me with a total balance of over $12K for a $6K loan...In addition to the financing deception the van needed a rear wiper motor and a rear window motor that weren't covered by the warranty so they were supposed to replace...They didn't. Car needed tires. They didn't want to replace them or give me a set off of one of the vehicles I traded in that were brand new. The ended up getting $15K and two vehicles that I'm sure they sold for $3K a piece for a van with over a 100K miles on it...Deceptive and totally unethical.

I was in a bind and neede3d a car and saw his ad on craigslist...I went in and he promised me he would get me into a great car and as i didnt have any down payment he would say to credit acceptance i gave him 1500 and to just pay him off over time..that seemed fair until i saw he charged me 7499 plus the 1500 for a 2005 equinox...From the get go not more then 5 min after i drove away from his lot a loud squeaking occurred so i brought it back and he fixed it..next thing i notice is both bumpers are cracked..ac doesnt work...car drifts to left...engine light goes on and off...car is filthy inside..big scratch along rear panel and i told him no way was i paying him down payment money until everything was fixed..he told me he wasnt fixing anything until i payed off the down payment(ya i believe that)..he then sent two goons to my job to harass me and block me so i couldnt leave..how he can rob people like this is beyond me..something should be done...

This lenny dimaggio is a criminal and i don't know how he is still selling cars. I recently bought a car off of him. from start to finish this guy lied though his foul mouth, and within a day of driving off his lot rocker panels where falling off i realized it would not hold oil, front wheel barring, rear shock mount, The car is rusting apart the power steering reservoir needed to be replaced, the heat don't work i could keep going but you get the picture. This vial man tried yelling at me saying i was paranoid until i yelled back and then like any week deceitful animal he changed his tune and fixed some things but never addressed the major stuff. The worst part about this, is i have known him for over 10 years and considered him a friend. I was blind and foolish thinking he was going to put me in a fair deal with a functioning car so i didn't pay attention like i should have to this criminal. I have literally been in a nightmare since i drove from jd motors parking lot. If you are thinking about purchasing a vehicle from jd motors his lyncourt store or anything that is attached to lenny dimaggio's name run for your sanity before you wake up in a nightmare and you cant get out . I bought a car from him and as soon as i left the lot a nightmare of problems started and never ended. He lied to me from start to finish everything that came out of that foul mans mouth was a lie. It would not hold oil, it needed a front wheel barring, a rear shock mount, the rocker panels fell off and i realized the whole thing was rusted and about to fall apart, it needed front break pads, the power steering fluid reservoir replaced, i am forgetting some things it was unbelievable and the worst part is i knew this guy 10 plus years and thought he was a friend. He tried screaming and yelling saying i was paranoid, Well that was until i started screaming and yelling and then like any scared, evil, deceitful animal he coward and fixed some things but never addressed the major problems. This guy is a criminal and i don't know how he is still selling cars. If you are even thinking about going to jd motors or his Lyncourt store or anything at all that has to do with the name Lenny Dimaggio then run for your sanity this guy will make your next two-three years a complete nightmare that you don't wake up from. I bought a dodge caravan with 60, 000 miles on it but I took the extended warranty which was costly but it paid off because I didn't trust Len . I plan on refinancing the car it's been two years of good payment. Len promise 2 free oil changes and replace my rear wiper and arm that was missing. He put wrong one on from any van I guess but I replaced it, 1st oil changes took 6 hrs because he didn't have the filter and then he didn't have the oil. Who buys oil by the case at a time. As for the warranty while in Florida the front driver bearing went, month later in NY the passenger side one went, all covered by warranty. Went I called Len for info on warranty he got annoy I didn't ask him to fix it under warranty, he'll took him 6 hrs to change oil I told him are you crazy give me the info. He shady guy

This is a horrible dealership and the sad thing is he is scary but trust I don't think this business will be doing all that good when I am done with them in court!

I purchased a 2003 Chrysler Town and Country back in February 2010. I like the van and it rides really nice, but my complaint is that he promised to replace the wheel covers and the remote that is still busted. I already had to have the tranny line replaced, and now the air conditioning unit is shot. I can't turn off the heating unit with out it grinding and screeching. I feel like I have been had by him, and it is horrible customer service since he dido not uphold his end of the deal that was made. I will never do business with them again.

Well i know this is a complaint forum but i just have to say that i purchased a 2002 chevy tahoe from JD Motors and i couldn't be happier. The vehicle was in perfect shape, the sales people were very knowledgeable and friendly, they had a nice selection of top quality used cars for sale. Bottom line is that I would buy another vehicle from them in the future. THANK YOU AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK JD.

I work next door to Lyncourt Car Care so I thought - hey - my car was in an accident right before Christmas... maybe they can set me up with a good used car. So, I walked in and was told by Mark (the "owner") that he could do right by me. Turns out, he's not the owner. JD Motors owns Lyncourt Car Care, though there is no sign telling you this. And, from the very beginning of my car deal, everything was a lie. EVERYTHING.

I purchased a 2002 Mazda Protege 5. I took it for a test drive. I liked it. Mark had quoted me a price... .but, when I got back, he said he'd "screwed up" and misquoted me $2, 000 under the price. So, I asked if he'd like to back out of the deal. His words - "I'm a man of my word." Okay - fine.

After my check was cashed, Mark then told me he would not cover costs to repair the car so it could pass inspection, even though he had told me that any repairs to the car so it would pass inspection would be covered by him (and had to be covered by him). The car needed repairs to the emergency brake and new tires.

Not knowing any better, I gave him another check and then contacted the DMV in Albany. I was told to cancel the check because the dealer was responsible for all repairs to the vehicle so it would pass inspection. In the meantime, I didn't realize Mark should have given me a copy of the odometer reading and a 30 day warranty. But, he never did. Nor did he give me proof that the car's title had been transferred to me.

Through a little bit of detective work, I found out where the car was inspected - JD Motors (thru Cole Muffler) - and then found out they own Lyncourt Car Care. Len, the owner, refused to give me any paperwork regarding the inspection repairs on my car. He stated that "he never gives paperwork to customers." (huh?) That was when I filed my complaint with the DMV Safety Division.

The first day I drove the car I smelled gas. Turns out it has a rotted out fuel tank which was covered up with undercoating and tar. Len then turned nasty and refused to repair the car and "demanded" that I not fix it because he was going to "exercise his right" to buy it back. He sent me a very threatening email and frankly, I'm afraid for my life. I am currently waiting for a DMV investigator to contact me but I will be getting the car fixed, as it is unsafe to drive.

Please, please, please... JD Motors has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. I don't want this to ever happen to anyone else. They need to be investigated.
