This company offers FREE samples of their teeth whitener. You think you are paying for a small shipping fee only. However, if you scroll down to the bottom of the site( http://www.hollywoodbrite.com ) and click on a small link called Terms and Conditions, you will find hidden in three pages of type that:
You have 14 days to try the product starting from the day you order. You have to cancel the product within that 14 day period or else you will be charged $84.71 AND they will keep sending you the product and charging you every month! It also says you can cancel the product by mail, email or phone. However, they give no email address anywhere on the site, and their confirmation email is a "noreply" email. The mailing addresses they give are fake; there are two different addresses given on the site, and a third address on the return label of the package sent to you. All three addresses belong to real businesses... just not to Hollywood Brite (The addresses belong to: a Credit Bureau in Georgia; a Driving Academy in Nevada; and a Cosmetic Surgery firm in London, England). The phone number is also bogus--to a point. I tried calling it four days in a row and only got an answering machine which hung up on me without giving me the chance to talk to anyone or leave a message. I finally got a hold of them on the fifth day, and it was passed my 14 day trial. They would not refund the money. Also, though they advertise their company name as Hollywood Brite, the real name of the company is also found under the names: Kinetic Promotions LLC, Smart Kinetics LTD, and Kinetic Health. You're card is initially billed for the small shipping fee you agreed to... and in your billing statement it says "HLLYWDBRITE." But on the 15th day when you're hit with the bill for $84.71, the billing statement says: "DGL*TEETHWHITENER"... so it appears to be coming from a different company. While you try to figure it out, they will keep sending you more and charging you more until you contact them and cancel. EVEN IF YOU DON'T OPEN THE PACKAGE THEY WILL NOT ALLOW RETURNS OR REFUNDS.
VERY DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING.

I turned two charges into my credit card company that they in turn found as fraudulant charges and now hollywood brite is turning me into collections! My credit card is sending me two letters to send to the collectons agency because they are not supposed to collect on fraudulant charges. They are probably not aware that they are. I'm sure hollywood brite lied to them too!

I went back and forth with this company. They gave a two week trial, which, by the way is NOT enough time as it takes at least a month or two before you see results AND they weren't timely sending it so that part of my 2 week trail period (which starts on the date THEY send it out-not the date I received it) involved the shipping time as well. So I was charged an $84.00 fee WHICH I PAID along with the $1.99 shipping fee! When I called them they agreed to send me another one for a lesser price along with a free one, so I should have received two-I ONLY RECEIVED ONE. They charged this to my credit card and my credit card denied the charge. ONE YEAR LATER they sent this to collections and threatened to hurt my credit rating if I didn't pay. So I paid it fuming the entire time. I tried to call the phone number listed on there contact sheet and that # "isn't accepting calls at this time". How convienant for THEM. I believe what comes around goes around and the owner of this scam company will eventually hit hard times and suffer greatly for the frustation he/she has caused so many of it's customers.
As the saying goes, misery loves company...I appreciated reading all your comments and knowing I wasn't the only one they "screwed over"... God bless all of you (and me!) who have been scammed by Hollywood Bright...

I am also a scammed customer. I also paid full price 98.86 on my credit card. Could never get anyone on the phone. The next month my credit card was billed again, not once, but twice from Hollywood Brite and Kinetice-Support.com.
Imagine my suprise coming home from work and my husband waving the visa bill in my face, asking me what are these charges for. My advice, change your credit card number, or the next month you will be charged again!

Count me as one more scammed customer. Paid 1.99 shipping and handling for a "Free sample". I never saw the fine print that says you have to cancel in 14 days. Called them up when I saw a pending 89.66 charge on my bank account. I was told I could cancel future shipments but could not get credit because it has been shipped. I said I had not received it and I want to cancel everyything. He again repeated well didnt you read that you only have 14 days to cancel, I can give you 10% off your second bottle. If you use it for a few more months you will see results. Give me a break a few months? Freaking Crest White Strips work better than this crap! And bottle? Its the size of a pen, the same as the so called free sample. And like someone else has said, the free sample came in an envelope that says Hollywood Brite this second shipment was unidentifiable so I opened it only to find more Hollywood Brite. But the envelope is marked Fullfillment Center (HOTE) from Atlanta, GA. My bank said I could only dispute it if I didn't receive it so I had planned on not opening it and marking return to sender. They even trick you into opening it because I was expecting a larger package since he said "bottle" and I expected it to say Hollywood Brite. This company has very deceptive business practices and the only reason they are still around is due to there deception on the internet.

Do not be fooled by these people. Tell everyone you know about these crooks!

I just got off the phone and was able to only cancel future shipments. I am stuck with the original amount of 89.66. The number I called was [protected]. I agree - SCAM - NO NOT ORDER. Small amount of product for exhoribant price. I also agree - they know exactly what they are doing. If you miss the small print - you lose.

I too have been scammed by this company Hollywoodbrite - Smart Kinetics LTD. I just got off the phone with them too regarding charging my account $89.66. They know exactly what they are doing. They product doesn't even work.

Also that small sample they send you, is the exact product they send and bill you for $89. I laughed at them. I have disputed this with my credit card company already and will continue to dispute this charge. This company is going down.

[protected], they charged by card under "Billing-faq.com". SCAM - DO NOT ORDER.

The address to wich i shipped my product back to was in Atlanta GA. I shipped my product more than a month ago and nothing refunded. The excuse that i have been given is that they are changing merchant banks. ...Bogus ! My email is: andreagould373@yahoo.com

I was also scammed. I called the number too to only be hung up on twice, it could have been due to the language I was using! They too kept referencing the terms and conditions. I was stupid enough to order two samples that were to compliment each other from two different companies. I never even got the samples which I told them on the phone, had I at least received those than I could have seen the info where I had 14 days to cancel and I surely would have. Note to self, read the terms and condition. Actually, don't even go for these stupid things. I was always told, if it seems to good to be true it always is. One of the companies I found their email and sent them a fairly nasty email, they replied saying that they would credit back my credit card for the charges, and they have. The Hollywood Brite people though were not as accommodating. I found an email for them billing-faq.com which a couple of my emails went through but I'm pretty sure I am blocked or they have changed it as I just get the messages back as undelivered.

If any of you have not received the product like I did, you still have a chance to get your money back. I was told by my credit card company (mastercard) that they could dispute it based on the fact that the product was never received. They could not dispute it based on the second charge to the credit card because all the company would have to produce was the authorization from me for the $1.00 charge.

Hope this helps someone get their money back. I too want to report them to the BBB.

I would like to report them to the Better Business Bureau. This company has obviously done this to several people!

Very true, you get duped, talk to an agent & she only says, "Did you read the trial part of the agreement". You will hear this over & over...on the phone for 19 minutes. She was a parrot ===== that was her only answer! This company needs to be sued! They area a fraud
& scam artist that has your $84.71 & that is the last answer!
