Seagate NEE Lacie - Lacie d2 Professional HD

This is my first/last experience with the once-well-respected Lacie, now Seagate-owned. Briefly, I bought this drive in Jan 2025, and now - 8 months later - it suddenly began rapid-blinking and is no longer recognized by my computer. I tried all the troubleshooting tips, no effect (and now the disk is making grinding noises too.) So... it's warrantied...
