I had a very horrible experience with Dr. Jeremy Wong and will never see him again.
This past April I got pregnancy and refereed by my family doctor to see him ever since. Since week 5 till week 12, I visited him every 2 weeks, he checked me every time including blooding test but without any ultrasound till week 12. In week 10, he checked baby’s heartbeat and cannot hear any but no further follow up either. Week 12, the fist ultrasound showed no heartbeat and baby was only like size of week 7. He asked me to take the pills that night to end the miscarriage. After two days, the ultrasound showed incomplete and he asked me to continue to take pills for another 2 days. The ultrasound after that still showed incomplete and his receptionist called me and said it is up to me to keep taking the pills or not based on the ultrasound report. I was so frustrated and confused by that call. How should I decide to take the pills or not, I am the patient not the doctor. Later that day I went to the hospital and they arranged me a series of tests and gave me the D&C next day. The doctor at the hospital said the pills did not work well on me. But Dr. Jeremy never ever did any follow up procedure to make sure I was okay.
Later after that, Doctor in hospital told me that I should have an ultrasound as early as week 7 or week 8 latest since I had an ectopic pregnancy before, however Dr. Jeremy failed to give me one. That makes me think he never read my previous file carefully due to his rush.
Even more, after the miscarriage the second time I met him, he arranged me a test could do nothing but harm to me due to his carelessness because he did a big circle on the test paper including a test item right after ultrasound. I was lucky because the technician specialize in that test was unavailable that day. Later that day I asked him what that test was, he changed his face and crossed the test item right away said you don’t need that one. It need inject water into your uterus. What the hell! How can a doctor be like him? If I did that test, I probably would have a serious problem beyond imagine. Did he ever have a minimum doctor ethic at all? Or how can people like him be a doctor? He is just a killer with legal doctor license!
Every time when I visit him, it took me averagely 1.5-2 hours in the waiting room and only 2-3 min. to talk to him. Patients are being overbooked, pregnant women stand on the aisle due to no enough seat. He is not really willing to answer your questions or he is too busy to listen to your questions at all. Also he even asks for $300 a so called “block fees” to the patients with CASH only.
He is the worst doctor I have ever seen.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Dr. Wong is the best doctor I seen. I will follow him even the waiting times is 3 hours. Dr. Wong and your lovely staffs are the best.
My personal advice is that try to avoid having Dr. Jeremy Wong as your OB unless you absolutely have to! I’ve been seeing him for the past year not only his receptionists are unprofessional and rude also he just doesn’t have time for his patients. As an OB or any doctor if you simply don’t have time to talk to and listen to your patient then doesn’t matter how knowledgeable you are you can be considered as a responsible OB/GYN. In my opinion he is way over booked. His waiting time on average in any day is about at least 2 to 3 hours. Once you get to finally see him you barely have 5 minutes with him. At the same time his receptionists are simply disrespectful to the patients. Impatient and rude! I understand you are there 5 or 6 days a week and at least 8 hours a day but it doesn’t give you the excuse to be mean to the patients! I recently transferred to a different clinic. I only wish I had done this sooner instead of wasting my time there for nothing! Very disappointed at Dr. Jeremy Wong!
