Ana Radovanovic, a golden retriever dog breeder with Golden Romance Kennels in Yugoslavia has misrepresented the sale of a golden retriever female puppy. I purchased a female golden retriever puppy from her current litter. She told me that the parents of this puppy were both champions. Her website puppy page clearly shows photo's of the sire and dam along with their pedigree and photo's of the puppies. I was motivated to buy this puppy because the parents were both champions and I liked the bloodlines. I reserved a female puppy and gave Ana Radovanovic a $500 deposit. A few weeks later this breeder tells me that the pedigree of my puppy is not the same as I was led to believe, and in fact the parents are not champions. I was furious with her and felt that I could not trust her. She completely misrepresented the sale of this puppy. I decided not to buy this puppy and asked for my $500 deposit back. Ana Radovanovic told me that deposits are non-refundable. She even sold the female puppy that I was going to buy to another buyer. She refused to send me my money back. I live in the USA and have no recourse. I even went as far as asking her to refund me $200 of my $500. She refused to do this. If Ana Radovanovic was a stand up person she would have done something for me. This breeder is highly unethical and very unprofessional. I had every right to get my deposit back due to this situation. As far as I am concerned this is fraud. I want to advise potential golden retriever buyers about Ana Radovanovic and my horrible experience. Her website is goldenromance.info. Buyers beware of this woman as she is not to be trusted and is ruled by money.

I find your post very disturbing, especially since I know the other side of the story! Ana has many friends in the Golden Retriever world...Europe, US, and Canada and the posting you have made could do great damage to her reputation. I strongly suggest you retract your complaint...or make another posting as an apology to YOUR misrepresentation of the transactions that took place. If this doesn't happen, I will publish ALL the details so people that read these complaints know the entire story and exactly who was at fault. This Complaint board is a great forum, when used correctly.
Tbe case is true and you should hear what that woman Ana did to us again too. OMG!
I’m sharing my experience to warn others about a breeder named Ana Radovanovic, who operates Golden Romance Kennels. I paid her $7,500 over 4 years ago for dogs I never received. To date, I’ve only been refunded $250, despite repeated excuses and delays.
After speaking with other breeders, it’s clear this isn’t an isolated incident. Multiple U.S.-based breeders appear to be working with her, and the issues include:
Forged pedigrees and Incorrect or falsified birthdates: Puppies are sometimes shipped internationally at just 3 months old, with paperwork claiming they’re 4 months, leading to customs issues.
Unhealthy or unfit dogs: Some buyers receive dogs with poor temperament, health issues, or that are unsuitable for breeding.
Sick arrivals: Dogs have arrived with bloody stool or other health problems, and buyers are told it’s due to “travel stress.”
No dog or money at all: Some buyers never receive a dog or a refund.
I’ve spoken with at least two other breeders who were scammed out of $4,000 or more. If someone defends this breeder, they may be part of the scheme.
Please avoid doing business with Golden Romance Kennels or Ana Radovanovic. If you’ve had a similar experience, I encourage you to share your story to help protect others.
