Management company does not fairly represent the members of the association they are managing. They side with the board members and are the open ear to them. I have a neighbor that is an elected board member and she is not a nice person.
She reports and sometimes double reports issues to the management company. I have tried unsuccessfully tried to contact the association management company on this issue. I leave messages with the person on the letter I received and she never calls me back. Instead I receive a followup letter stating the issue is not resolved. Meanwhile, the board member continues to report people, (even though she is not even in compliance), and the association management does not investigate the claims. They just send the form letters out.

Association management is a tough job and requires tough conversation sometimes, something this management company seems to want to avoid. No Good!

I can see how it might seem like that, but actually, GCAM employees do verify the nature of a complaint. Board members are like everyone else, there's really great ones, and a few that aren't. The best way to rectify a board that seems to be making decisions you disagree with is to run for the board! Hey, it might be fun!
