My wife, who doesn't speak spanish very well, entered a 'contest' on a Latino radio station. They said if you name a town that does not contain the letter "a" from Puerto Rico you 'win' a vacation for 4 people to the Puerto Rico. She called, named the town and the station said she 'won'. Later what supposed to be the radio station called and said she had 'won'. They took some general information and a credit card that supposively was not going to be charged. Later we got the credit card statement and found out the company's name was Go Relax Travel LLC and they charged us $393.98. As a result my wife called to cancel, Go Relax travel said that they will not refund the money. They played a recording from the entire conversation that took place at the radio station and the guy doing the explanation was talking very fast in spanish and with a different accent. You could barely understand when he mentioned the charge and other terms and it was very deceving and they will not return our money. The Florida Better Business Bureau rates them a D-. They have had tons of complaints. Please report them to the Better Business Beareau and with the Attorney General for the State of Florida. I did, we'll see what happens.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I also got scam from this radio station the said you text this number with a country that has the letter A three times to win a free vacation for two for 3 days so I text and later on in the day they call me saying I won they ask me some general question and said I needed to pay $99 for a hold and so that they can schedule me a day to come to an address in Orlando and that I would also need to bring in someone with me well I have my credit card and they charged me the $99 and the date was scheduled the day came to go to the location which was near international drive they have you sit down with a rep trying to sell you time shares for 2 hours and a half the whole time telling. Them we are not interest abut they keep insisting that we need to buy after that is done with they give you a website for you to finally claim you vacation package of your choosing with a secure login access that you have 6 months to claim and once claim you have a year to use it and my I remind you this was suppose to be free so I login into the website proved by them enter my login to claim my vacation and come to find out I need to pay a deposit of $195 and then once I choose my date of when I want to go let’s say to bahamas for July 11 I will have to pay an additional fee and the deposit I that If I’d payed it would go towards that extra fee again they claim this is a free vacation but they are hear charging people in the process I knew it was to good to be true!
mi madre participo en rumba 100.3 con una simple pregunta y gano un paquete de vacaciones que supuestamente iva a salir por 299.00 por el hotel pero no me digeron que iba a pagar taxes del hotel para cuatro personas me senti enganado porque despues que me sacaron los chavos a lo ultimo me dicen que tengo que pagar taxes todo es un scam y fraude
mi esposo participo en un programa de radio, le hisieron una simple pregunta y al contestarla le dijeron que se habia ganado un paquete familiar para 4 personas al lugar de su preferncia, solo tenia que dar su numero de tarjeta de credito para referencia supuestamente no se le haria ni un cargo, unos dias despues nos llegaron las opciones para escojer a donde podiamos viajar y nos dimos cuenta que el viaje no era para 4 personas si no para 2 y que nos habian echo un cargo por 383.98 dlls ala tarjeta de credito de mi esposo hemos llamado para cancelar el viaje y no nos han alludado tenemos un ano y dos meses esperando a que un supervisor nos regrese la llamada y aun no obtenemos respuesta de nadie.. alguien nos puede ayudar por favor..
suppose I win a 4 day 3 nights at anaheim disaneyland and 3days 2 nights at las vegas hotel, and they told me I can transfer or give the tickets away to somebody, so i give the tickets to my sister, who lives in kingman arizona, so she can bring the kids to california but, when i called to get her transfer the tickets a girl name yeslein ask me is my sister was married if they make $50, 000.00 a year so i can transfer the tickets to them so i ask her why they did not clarify that when they, tell you you can transfer the tickets to somebody else, she told that she does not suppose to give more information, about it, and she also was so rud to me, they not even a profesional, or tell you im sorry ar anithing like that, so i ask her to send my money back but she even laugh at me? so i do not know waht to do so i can get my money back? please help.
Have you tried placing a claim with your bank? Explain to them they are fraud and scam artist
Same thing happen to me just 5 days ago i win but here asking money do you get your money back. i am going send a letter to cancell the request a refund. please advuse .

Agree. My husband and I were in the same boat. However, since we had paid with a credit card when there's a discrepancy their suppose to issure a credit to your account and go after them; to solve the problem.
After, being persistent with the credit card company they decided it was to their advantage to provide us with a credit. I guess they knew I had other means up my sleves.
