I had purchased total RM173.00 at Giordano 1st Avenue Penang, Malaysia on 12-April-2013. I still remembered the incident when I walked in the shop. One sales girl told me that when I purchase above RM150, there will be a rebate RM30 on the spot no matter I am the member or not. After I choose the clothes, I go to the cashier and ready to make payment. The cashier girl ' KARINE CHEONG KHAI LING' asked me whether I am member or not? I replied her say that I don't have. Then she asked my friends who come along with me whether she had the member card? Her purpose asked me whether I have member card is because she SAID THERE IS 10% discount if I have member card. Then my friend thought really can get 10% discount on top of the RM30, she helped me to get her friend's phone number in order to get the discount. THE MAIN POINT IS HERE, SHE ALREADY KNEW 10% MEMBER'S DISCOUNT AND RM30 REBATE can only able to choose either 1, but she didn't told me in the 1st place. When I make the payment I didn't noticed about that because I trusted GIORDANO is a world-wide recognised brand and won't happen Despicable things. Unfortunately, after 5 days when I started to wear the clothes and removed the price tag, I just noticed, the cashier just deduct RM30 on my purchased which total bill I paid was RM143. My question is where is the 10% DISCOUNT ? I called [protected] on [protected], the Penang 1st Avenue shop's number and ask, she just replied me she will check and let me know. Today, she called again, she twist the FACT, saying that she did tell me that RM30 and 10% can only choose 1, and she did use calculator show the her calculation and I agreed to give the 143 points to my friend's friend whoever I do not know. My question is, as a smart consumer, will I do that?Why shoud I do that? Why should I give the point blindly to a PERSON who I do not know and I AM SO STUPID not to collect points by meself?
This incident really make me feel shame on the working attitude of this particular staff. A world-wide recognised brand can treat consumer as a fool. Trusted not equal agreed to be fooled! I really hope that top management can give me an acceptable explaination in order to let me protect my consumer right. Thank you.
