4/1/2022 referred for consultation to have root canal. Went for procedure on 4/28/2022 at 10am, came out with 2 root canals. Went back to regular dentist same day at 2pm. Regular dentist office put gel mold in my mouth for 1.5 minutes, couldn’t get the mold out. Finally gets the mold out along with the pin the Endodontist just put in tooth 7. Regular dentist tried to rebuild post on tooth 7 and put temporary crown on. 2 days later temp crown falls off. Go back to regular dentist on 5/13 at 11 am for permanent crowns and crown for tooth 7 doesn’t fit. Office is telling me I broke the pin off. I tell them “no, this office broke the pin”. We go back and forth with the dentist telling me she had fixed the post and me saying the fix was obviously not done properly since I now have no tooth 7 left. I make another appointment the following week for the original dentist and another dentist to help rebuild the post. As I’m leaving the office manager literally comes running after me saying I owe $109 from a previous appointment. I tell the office manager “I’m not paying a dime today”. She then says then we won’t see you again and I’m cancelling the future appointment and that I could no longer see any dentist in the Gentle Dental organization.

I went to a new dentist to see what can be done now that the pin has broken below the gum line. I now have a front tooth missing which creates a speech impediment and need to have the root removed by an Oral Surgeon, a bone graph and an implant done. I have tried since May 28 th to get my medical records from both the Gentle Dental dentist along with the Gentle Dental Endodontist. I have received the endodontist records but still no records from the original dentist. This procedure has cost me 2-3 thousands so far and now looking at an additional 5,000 dollars for a procedure that now needs to be done to correct the problem created by Gentle Dental.

Desired outcome: To be compensated for the additional costs required to have an implant done along with all additional costs due to Gentle Dentals incompetence.
