Purchased 2019 Chevy Impala from Frank Leta Honda on March 5, 2022, it has been 19 business days from purchase, and they still have not provided us with the required documentation that I need to take to the DMV to pay the required sales tax and register the vehicle. We are provided 30 days from purchase to pay the sales tax and register the vehicle, I have taken off work specifically to go to the DMV and take care of our responsibility and am not able to do so without the required documents from the dealership. This in turn has left us with expired tags and additional fees being assessed due to delinquency. When dealership was contacted, they first advised 12-15 days for us to receive the documents in the mail and when called on March 31,2022 are now being told there is an issue with a lien causing a delay. Meanwhile we have a vehicle that we are not able to drive due to expired tags and being assessed late fees for registration waiting.
Desired outcome: Receive the required documents ASAP and reimbursed for any late fees caused by their delay in providing them to us in the appropriate amount of time.
