I cannot recommend Fence Outlet based on my experience. Before I signed the contract, the company came to my property, inspected the site, and took photographs of the existing fence. The signed contract stated they would remove the existing fence and clear the fence line. Nothing during the sale process led me to believe I would later be responsible to hire and pay another contractor $1,600 for fence removal and debris hauling.
On installation day (which was delayed multiple times by Fence Outlet), 2 installers showed up with manual posthole diggers; I received a call from the office stating they could not perform the job due to vegetation on the fence, even though prior to my signing the contract the site was surveyed and photos were taken.
I disputed the charge and ultimately was given a $380 credit - Fence Outlet hung their hat on the fact that boiler place language was included that states the homeowner ultimately is responsible for clearing the fence line, even though the signed portion of the contract clearly stated Fence Outlet would be responsible. The boiler plate language appears after the signed portion of the contract.
The entire process has been frustrating and costly, with poor communications from Fence Outlet as well as multiple delays in installations dates. I have chosen to remain the remaining balance simply so I can put this matter behind me - not because i believe the company handled it fairly.
Recommendation: I do not recommend this company based on my experience
