Fabulous Furniture review: Peeling leather 2

Purschased a leather sectional ( Ashley) sofa that was bonded leather, it was sold to me as 100% leather. Upon discovering that it was bonded leather according to the tags on the underside of the removable cushions I went back to the owner of Fabulous furniture to present this issue. They were very accommodating and provided me with the full amount of the sectional to be used towards another sofa. I purchased a reclining sofa and loveseat and paid the additional cost. The sofa and loveseat was manufactured by Ashley Furniture it was their Signature Series. Upon using the sofa for a short period of time, I had to return to the store to inform them it was very uncomfortable due to the fact there was not enough padding in the seat cushions and we were actually touching the metal framing while sitting on the sofa. The manager again was very accommodating and sent a representative from Ashley to evaluate the situation and make any necessary repairs. Additional material was added to the cushions by the manufacturer and we were happy with the sofa. About three months ago we noticed during cleaning and conditioning the sofa that the headrest and arm sections were splitting and peeling! The sofa is now about 2 years old. We once again went back to the manager of Fabulous Furniture to express our concerns regarding the quality of the sofa and asked for some assistance to rectify this problem. The manager's customer service staff contacted Ashley Furniture to inquire about what could be done to assist us with this problem. Ashely Furniture stated that since we did not purchase their treatment plan at the time of purchase they were under no obligation to provide us with any assistance. We have since found out that these treatment plans that they classify as an insurance warranty does not cover splitting or peeling of leather, only staining and cuts. My complaint is that Fabulous Furniture should not represent such a poor quality of furniture as Ashley Furniture. We have a leather sofa and love seat in our living room that is 7 years old and looks like it is brand new! We treat this furniture the same as the Ashley peeling, cracking sofa in our family room!
