March 10, 2023 We arrived around 11:30. I search online for a Tex-Mex restaurant. We were short on time so we took the nearest one. One thing that surprised me was said it was by a gas station. But I decided to give it a try because it was getting late and my son needed to go to work. The place was small and some of the tables were not clean. We got a table to the back ( see pictures) it was away from the entrance.

The table was in the back there was packages of some kind of drinks. Then a server and spoken with me in Spanish. When we order our food I notice that the price was not clear so I asked her about the prices. There wasn’t much to pick from. We all order the beef meat plate and 3 chicken tacos. When the full came it wasn’t what I expected to see she even dropped the fork on the floor. And we had to wait to get for which comes back with three tacos as she called them because all it was it was a couple pieces of chicken on a tortilla. I asked saw about the walk a moly about the lettuce and tomatoes sour cream. She told me that did not come with that but that you could put lettuce and tomatoes on it.

I told her I didn’t I want those tacos she took them back came back with lettuce and tomatoes only. I still didn’t want them she left them on the table. Then when we checked out she charge me for those tacos even though she told me there was no charge because that was not tacos to begin with. Because they only service breakfast taco. The receipt she gave me does not breakdown anything that I purchase it only says three meat barbecue and three tacos that’s all and they charge me $49.20. I went over to the register to speak to them and pay for what we ate. That’s what she told me I had to pay for the tacos I thought I want tacos those were not tacos. I told her I wanted to speak to someone. she said there was no one there but her. My Calculations was that I was going to spend not more than $40 with drinks. I wanted to speak with the manager she told me I had to pay for everything. I informed her I was going to file a complaint because that is not a professional way of doing business. If a customer is not satisfied with the food and they did not eat the food they shouldn’t be charge for it.

This is not the first small place that I have gone to eat. The other places have prices on the menu as well prices on drinks and they also give you refills. And if you’re not satisfied with your order there is a manager that you can speak to.

I’m very upset because I feel that because I will charge for something that I did not want because it wasn’t what I order and that’s what she said there was no charge at the end I was charged for it that is dishonest business. I want to be reimbursed for the tacos and the time I wasted going back to take some pictures all because of that employee wouldn’t work with me or show me any customer service. I would’ve done a lot better eating from the food truck.

I have enclosed a picture of the receipt pictures of the transaction and pictures of the place.

Desired outcome: I want to receive a reimbursement or half of what I spend. Because of false information given to me by the waiters. And for chicken tacos that were not chicken tacos.
