The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I am writing this story as I would like the residents to see what
> frustration we have been experiencing with the municipality. The
> following happened:

> Water leakage at water meter since October 2013. Two reference numbers
> obtained 892135 and 907787. First date reported was 07 October 2013
> and then again on 18 October 2013. Complained again on 24 October.
>A lady from Edenvale water services said that it was our problem
> not municipality. Had a plumber to check it out and confirmed that
> the leak is outside the boundary wall. Therefore municipality to fix.
> Municipality climbed over boundary wall on 18 October and dug a whole
> on the inside of my premises and damaged one of the water pipes. Water
> has been leaking ever since and is now starting to smell. Also
> reported matter to a higher authority with no luck.
> This must be fixed now as I am taking this matter to the Boksburg
> Advertiser and Hello Peter complaints line.

failing to help me wih the sewage i report a sewage since friday on the 2 June 2017 till now no one come in to help me REF:2548195 we cant walk inside the yard full of sewage we are now all sick in the house this sewage is infront of our door we cant even go in or out we must put the bricks to go in and out every morning i report this but nothing happened so far how are we going to survive about this Since from 2005 i must suffer about this i even ask municipality to remove it my wall fence and my outside rooms are now starting to have the holes because i report it in time but nothing happens. Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality done electrical works in my house but one of their electricians has broken electricity box outside my house. Now this box doesn’t close and it is left there for anyone to get electrocuted. I’m afraid about children that might get hurt but Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality is ignoring my requests to fix this problem…

I am the owner of property in Windmill Park, on Wednesday evening 22 October 2014 my tenant tried to load units on her box but was unable due to a error message on the unit.(see attached) This happens from tome to time but normally is sorted the next day or a few hours later. Thursday my tenants went to work (no electricity) and thought it would be sorted by the time they came back from work. Thursday evening they attempted again and di not work. They reported this to me and I logged a call with Ekurhuleni my ref being 1229758. When I followed up with the call centre on [protected] to find out when will the electrician come out, I was advised it will be within 24hours and they cant tell me anything cos it was too soon. My one tenant did not go to work waiting for the electrician who never came. I've been calling the call centre all weekend begging for the electrician's contact number but they would not give me this info. I begged for them to tell the electrician that it was urgent, all I got was promises that he would be there. the tenants of the 2 households could not leave the house since Friday (having terns) as they were waiting for the electrician. Both households ran a huge loss as all perishables in their fridges and meat went off. I wasted so much airtime calling all weekend for nothing. Yesterday afternoon I spoke to a lady by the name of Elizabeth who advised me that the electrician was there and there is nothing he can do as my account has been suspended and I must go into the council to sort this out. I advised her that the electrician was never there as the tenants have been waiting all weekend and that my account is not blocked as it is up to date, I am sending my husband with the unit to the council today to try get this sorted, I await his response from the council and hope this will be sorted today. One of my tenets has a sick child that needed a nebulizer and this was the most crucial part of it all and I tried to explain the urgency of my request to the customer service people and they were not helpful at all. What a tragedy that our service providers cannot service their people like we pay our accounts on time. I will expose Ekurhuleni for this as a sick child could have lost his life due to their pathetic service provided. I have no trust in Ekurhuleni Boksburg.. For the record my husband just found out now at the council that there is no problem with my account and the council disconnected my electricity in error, well this error cost two households lots of money, sickness and inconvenience, who will compensate these households now is what I would like to know..
