On about April 1st I saw an ad on the internet for face masks that looked like something I would like. I ordered two of these as the quoted price of $60. After I had entered my payment information, the total cost for charge was $103.00 (much more than I could or wanted to pay). I immediately CANCELLED the order and thought that was the END of transaction.
About two weeks thereafter I received an e-mail saying that I could NOT CANCEL the order. That appeared rather shady.
On May 3rd I received masks with following return address.
Online Seller (13)
30963 san Benito Street
Hayward, ca 94544
I packaged the masks up and sent them back the next morning (May 4) by USPS mail along with note that I had cancelled the order and was not going to pay for these items since I had returned them intact.
My credit rating is "superior". I have never not paid my bills or "cheated" anyone, but I have no plans of paying these folks. If anything they owe me $7.20 for postage to return a product I had cancelled.
