The one word that best describes Dr. Erik M. Rollem is mean-spirited.

Dentistry is fairly unregulated so reviews are important, for people to know a little about their local dentists.

Dentists are small businessmen and it's all about the cash flow. they can run things any way they want.

so it's no surprise that Dr. Erik M. Rollem runs his patients through on a mass production assembly line and you have to keep your fingers crossed that all procedures were done right .
But the problems arise when you ask him questions. Erik takes this as a personal challenge and can get very angry . So much so, that he will get very annoyed, very agitated and
lose his temper . He will cancel you, deny you treatment, close your account, even if you are a good paying customer.as I was.
If he has to refer you to someone else, that means his profit margin is narrowed so it.s not worth his time or effort to do anything more for you in terms of your dental health.

He doesn't believe in getting second opinions about anything . It's his way or nothing . . you're not worth his time . is his philosophy. And he will leave you midway in your treatment . What a nice guy!

He has a serious attitude problem and it really showed when he turned up for work looking like he just finished milking the cows or tuning up his Harley. He doesn't inspire confidence. And sadly the doctors he refers you to, do not either. But that's another story.

This was my experience with Erik Rollem but you may have a totally different one, I hope you do and I'm not impugning his integrity or honesty but the inference is clear, the inference is there;you decide.

When a dentist leaves you in the dark about your dental work and blows up at you for asking him to help you find an alternate treatment that is less evasive with a more knowledgable specialist as Dr. Rollem did, that's the time to look for a less mean-spirited dentist.

After looking at his recent ad where it states he provides personalized service and family dentistry I thought I'd better write the review. I'm sure you will read a refutation by professional refuters but you must be the last judge.

I too had the same problem with him. Any time I asked questions he became indifferent, evasive and grumpy. After asking him to replace one of his crowns that fell out, he said he wouldn't "because it would just fall out again". The last one lasted 4 years. Another 4 years sounded good to me but he refused and instead, he had his office staff call me a week later and tell me "I was to seek dental work somewhere else" and fired me as a patient!
Now I see he closed a couple months later. Good riddance and goodbye MR Rollem -- you just don't honor or deserve the prefix Dr..
